Wilton Grass Piping Tip #233

A fantastic tip! I used this to pipe grass on my partners birthday cake, easy to use and made the buttercream look like grass so I’m really pleased! Wilton is my favourite piping tip brand so I will always purchase from them. Easy to clean under the sink and good value for money as always!

Excellent product, just made a cake for my son's 18th and it's come out really well. I miss read the instructions so cut the angles slightly wrong on the 8 but I had no issues with sticking cakes or even cooking. The pan feels sturdy and durable and cleaned really well just by hand. I was charged £140 for a 40 cake recently so if you can give it a go it is well worth it and cost effective. The numbers come out large but as it has a waffle like griding on it you can easily cut.

I was asked to make no 3 cake so did loads of research on tins and went for a trusted name and something I could use again - feels like a good quality tin. The no 3 chocolate sponge came out wonderful I then used the tin to make a brownie in the shape of an R once again no problems I did line the bottom of tin then place the shapes which make letters/number on top of greaseproof then sprayed the sides with spray oil, nothing got stuck there was a small bit of leakage nothing significant

This is a good wilton too but practice to get your icing consistency right as it's hard to push through the tip. Love the affects it's great!

Easy tip to use with the right consistency of buttercream. Once you get the technique right it’s quick and easy to pipe effective looking grass. Good quality tip

Have a left handed niece that is learning cake decorating, she was very excited to get these and is finding them easier to use than trying to manipulate the right handed rose petal tips. So far, they have worked very well, and no rust, though we do wash and dry fairly quickly.

Great tin, good quality, flexible to make all numbers and letters.

Used this to make a shaggy cow print for a smash cake! Worked well but it is a lot of work!

This was a great tip to use for making grass frosting. You could also use it for making short “hair” out of frosting (like for Elmo). Careful that it will snag your frosting bag if you scratch the tip against it while setting up (oops) but otherwise this works great.
