Good sturdy product.
This curtain pole was easy to fit and the instructions were clear and concise. When in position it looks quite elegant. A very good price as well. I only needed to use two support struts although three were provided. No sagging in the middle with a length of 5 feet. Happy with purchase.

Scratches but who's looking that closely?
This rod is good in that it is sturdy and it looks nice but the problem, at least with the silver one, is that the coating really does wear off. I don't know notice it in use but when I take curtains down to wash them and I look closely at the pole it's full of scratches where the silver coating has scratched off either from the screws that hold the rod in place or possibly even the eyelets of the curtain. Saying that it's ridiculously cheaper than a lot of other options and I dont notice this at all in normal use so I really don't care that much and I would buy this again if I just needed a cheap curtain rod that looks decent.

Good value and pleasing on the eye
A really good easy solution to hanging door curtains. The length is adjustable . The are not heavy to handle. It tells you in the box which weight of curtains the pole will take. They have a lovely brushed steel finish. I am really happy with them that I have purchased.

Got it figured out now and it's very good
Each pole is 127cm. Both poles together make 254cm minimum before adding the telescopic centre pole. The minimum length of the pole was stated as 183cm (as stated on the box). Okay, so if you want a shorter pole, YOU NEED TO TAKE OUT THE SMALLER, CENTRE POLE AND FLIP IT AROUND. The smaller, centre pole has a fitting on the end to fit the finial ball into and the other, 127cm pole, can be recycled or used for another purpose (as long as that purpose is legal, decent etc). I like the fact that the finial balls are screwed into the ends. I had a similar style of pole from Homebase and the balls were attached with as side screw that was supposed to hold them in place but didn't. Picture the damage that a spherical lump of metal falling onto your foot will do, but this one does not have this problem. The support brackets are strong enough to take heavy curtains and were easy to fit. The wall screws and plugs were of good quality. This makes a real difference, because too many products try to save a few pence by using soft-steel screws or sub-standard plugs that will ruin an otherwise good product, as well as your entire day. So I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a good, sturdy, basic curtain pole.

Easy to install, look dearer
They're very easy to install and all the hooks and screws are in the box. I was looking for something what will fit my windows and they're perfect for the size, as it's very easy to adjust them. They're very light, so even one person can put them in. When friends were visiting me and saw them they were expecting they were dearer, so overall it's a great value for money.

Perfect for what I needed it for ...
I needed to hang some curtains to hide a particularly unlovely double sliding door, but only had a limited choice of where to fix a curtain rod as it was a partition wall - it had to be fixed to the top of the door frame, basically. I bought this one on the grounds that if it was unsuitable, it wouldn't be much money lost - and would in any case probably be useful at a later date. As it turns out, it's absolutely perfect. It's light enough to be handled and installed by a 60-something woman, only requires very simple fixing (in my case I was fixing to wood, so I didn't even need a drill - just a ratchet screwdriver and a strong wrist) but is substantial enough with its central support to hold two full length, lined, curtains securely. If there's a 'minus' it's a very small one - and it's the price you inevitably play for an adjustable curtain rod. As someone else has said, the spot where the two rods telescope together is a bit of a snag point, but it's really no problem at all and is more than offset by all the other positives.
