What's not to like in such a good design?
Brilliant, Sturdy. Accurate, Strong! RED! Easy to use. Perfect pressure. Good value...

Quality capo
Lovely colour and gloss finish. Easy to use. Very strong springs tho which means I have to tune to the capo pressure. So whilst it's quick and easy to use I do have to adjust the tuning. Great quality for the price.

An Extremely Stable Capo
I recently gave in and bought a capo so that I could learn some Radiohead songs properly which also use one on their guitar. First and foremost this is an extremely compact capo - it will not take up much room in your guitar case. It is also light weight and does not unbalance the guitar (make it more neck-heavy). Mind you, it is powerfully sprung and you do have to really squeeze down on the handle to open it up. If you have a thick guitar neck it will make you work harder to get in on. The 'bridge' section of the capo is long enough for you NOT to have to force the capo on. If you force it on up to the hinge, you are overdoing it and on my USA Ovation, this pushes the low E out of line and of course out of tune. So don't - use the full length of bridge (it is covered in rubber to protect the neck) to clamp down on the strings. I've tried this capo at the 12th fret it will still cover the neck. The opposite side of the capo (the 'thumb') is also covered in a rubber/plastic material to protect the neck material. In both cases the protective coverings are very well fitted - this is a well made capo. If your guitar has high frets, there is no doubt that you are going to have to retune the guitar because of that grip - but you should retune after putting a capo on anyway. This is a great capo for practicing or where it will need to stay on the guitar throughout a performance (it will be hard to knock it off!). But if you will be moving the capo around a lot by yourself during a set (with no roadie to help you) you might want to consider a model that is easier to handle - faster perhaps - unless you can spend enough time with this one and get used it before taking it on stage. The best way to handle it is to push down on the rear 'thumb' against the neck as you manoeuvre it over the strings and release the bridge bar gently onto it - the same with taking it off - this way you will tend not to drag on the strings and keep them in line. This is my first capo and all I can say is that it works and has got me doing what I intended to do. It seems built to last. Highly recommended. If anything changes I will let you know.

Good capo - does what it says on the tin
A nice capo that does what it says on the tin. I've tried loads of capos over the years - the Ernie Ball Axis (which wouldn't clamp on the end of my Fender headstock), the G7th Nashville (not great in my opinion and too tight of a clamp), whereas this is pretty good. Clamps nicely and the build quality seems good too. In my opinion, a tad dear for what it is, but it does the job. The little curved shape at the stop is a little strange and it does feel slightly odd to use because of this, but I guess it's their trademark thing

Great capo
Great quality and worth paying a little extra for the good soft grip. My previous cheaper capo didn’t press all the strings down properly on the acoustic guitar as the material was stiffer. This one is nice and soft, perfect for both acoustic and electric guitar. Had one for over a year and there are zero signs of wear.

So far, a fabulous capo.
I only just received this a couple of hours ago so I can't perhaps furnish this with great detail but so far this seems to be a really effective piece of kit. The cheap capo that came with my acoustic seemed fine to me until I put this on. The difference is stunning. The capo'd guitar, using the Kyser, sounds every bit as clear as uncapo'd and there's little difference in sustain- at least not enough to stop those open note drones and flicks sounding wonderful. My first thought was it was very stiff when trying to open, which makes me wonder just how quick the quick change in the name actually is. But this means, of course, that it's very good at its job. And it is. I don't know how this compares to other named and expensive capos but it's like a whole new world when compared to my cheapy capo. It's bloody good. So far. And it goes with my guitar! I'd given up trying to get the right color of red and just plumped for the one nearest and it turns out that it's actually spot on the same as the red of my guitar!

Great capo
Over the course of 42 years as a professional musician/sound engineer, I've owned dozens of Capo's and still have a few. Some have been unwieldly, some not clamping right, some too loose, some to hard to open up and SO on. This one not only looks great, it's also easy to fit, and grips the fretboard securely, but tenderly, if you get my drift. When you have a guitar collection, with individual instruments costing thousands of pounds each, you want a capo to give the fretboard a nice cuddle, not a bear hug, and this capo is it. I will 100% be getting a couple more of them some time soon. They're that good that my worry now is that they will go out of stock. I can't let that happen. Great, great product.

Good Robust Capo
Good robust capo. I like the fact that when not in use it can clip on the headstock rather than having to store in a pocket or bag. It's very easy to use and doesn't throw the guitar out of tune. It looks well and fits all my acoustic guitars. I haven't used it on electric guitars, but I've no reason to think it wouldn't perform just as well.

Kyser makes almost every color and color combination of capo, and every one has great reviews which tells me the design is perfect and it's just a matter of finding a color that fits your personality. I've only been playing guitar a few months, and I went with Kyser for 2 reasons: first because my instructor recommended it and second because as a Marine the camouflage pattern appealed to me. I've never used any other kind of capo, so I can't compare it to another style or manufacturer. But it's easy to use, works perfectly, and the pattern fits my personality. The camo pattern is not a tactical pattern like I hoped but more like a Mossy Oak hunting pattern.

Nothing new here, just the most reliable and easy to use capo on earth. Can easily move it with 1 hand. Doesn't mute any strings. Of course they come in the coolest colors too. I've tried other cheapo capos and they all mute the strings until you fiddle about and get them to sit just perfect. The Kaiser still rules.
