KitchenCraft Aluminium Fish Scaler, 22 cm (8.5"), Silver

Yesterday was my first time of using it. Am so glad I bought it because, when it arrived I looked at it, and thought it will damage the fish skin whilst using it. Due to the way it was made, to my surprise no it didn't. Very easy to use and easy to clean too. Just run the tap over it, and all the scales will come off. Depending on how you place the fish, the scales don't go everywhere. Nice little kitchen utensils 💯

First time I’ve owned a proper fish scale remover and I wish I’d got one sooner. I wasn’t sure how this one could be so good because it looks like it shouldn’t work… but it does. I rub it over the fillet in a circular motion, whilst running the fish under cold water to wash away the scales. Very effective, easy, and minimal mess. To clean it just rinse under the tap as it will discolour if cleaned in a dishwasher, as pointed out in another review.

Very easy to get scales off the fish but you will have to use tactfulness not to get the scales everywhere. For the price, I can't complain. It looks more expensive that the price paid.

It's the best

This item is ok and quite cheap. However, it was not easy for my to use as it requires certain amount of strength and it took a long time for me to finish a whole salmon.
