Great little recorder, easy to use. great sound

This is a brilliant little tool for lectures and capturing music. Nice and clear, easy to use

Really easy to use, recordings start instantly (seems odd to say, but cheaper ones didn’t), only lost a star as it seems expensive. We use this for community Speedwatch, and it is perfect to record details of speeding cars for playback, writing up and submission to our local PCSO.

The casing seems quite fragile, but this is my only reservation. This does the job perfectly, is very easy to use and the sound quality is very good.

Didn't mind the poor instructions. Didn't mind the quirky controls (can't change date or time without removing the batteries!!). Do mind that after the second time of use, it refuses to connect to my MacBook or my wife's PC. Flashes "PC" and does not show up on either machine.. If you want a piece of plastic that records and plays back (if you can master the controls) and are not bothered about saving your recording to computer, go ahead. If not, stay away..

I wanted a recorder to capture interviews of people's experiences during WW2 for the forthcoming VE Day celebrations. I have never used a voice recorder before and read many reviews before purchase. What a splendid little device this is so easy to use both to record and playback when typing up the interview. It can be dangerous however if left on!

Took a little while to understand the instructions

This is my second purchase of this item, having mislaid the first o of my opinion.ne. The fact that I have purchased another should give you a good idea

I am very impressed of the sound quality. There are 4 modes: Memo, Talk, Music, LP (Longplay) I have used the different modes, memo is great and almost no background noise at all, but range is limited. Talk mode is great for like recording conversations in a small room. Music mode delivers great sound quality and great range too, but much bigger files. LP mode, it has great range but the sound quality is of course not good, much background noise, but at least you can hear clearly what you record. Conclusion: about 40 hours recording so far in different modes i still have full battery which is good to know. Ease of use: just push up the recording button and it starts recording immediately no need turn it on before. You can use a single button to write protect a recording. I don’t think you can get a better mono dictaphone for the price. Sound is great, battery lasts forever… Ease of use Hassle free compatibility with Macintosh and Windows. Olympus delivers as always

Funziona benissimo: il microfono è molto sensibile per cui a volte anche il solo sfiorare il registratore, disturba la registrazione. È consigliabile un microfono esterno. Due batterie tipo AAA che assicurano una lunga durata. I files registrati posso essere scaricati sul PC con estrema facilità. Ottimo per registrare lezioni a scuola o all'università.

Cuando salgo a pasear con mi grabadora, pongo mi grabación ,me coloco el auricular y al paso del ritmo de lo grabado ando al mismo ritmo con que he empezado. Este es el uso que le doy a la grabadora. Graba con nitidez , pero con dos pilas, poca potencia y poco volumen se pueden sacar. Muy bien , pero pobre en tecnologia. Hace falta mas inversion e investigación para mejorar el producto.- Antonio A
