TRQ Front CV Axle Shaft Assembly Set Compatible with 2010-2013 Ford Transit Connect

Installation was very easy and units were a perfect fit. Very clean in the package and all the rubber boots seem to be very well made and attached. Mechanic that did the installation was happy about the new hub nuts as some do not have new matched nuts. Steering and overall ride has a crisp feel now and not sloppy. Very happy.

My vehicle had vibration under acceleration which was most noticeable between 40-60 mph. It also had clunking noise when turning. At first I thought it was my wheels that were unbalanced but that didn’t fix the issue. Purchased this set and after installing it, the vibration is completely gone and no more clunking noise. CV axles arrived quickly, I like the quality and found the price inexpensive for both. TRQ has helped me countless times through YouTube videos and here I am again! Highly recommend for other Honda fit owners. Thanks TRQ!

Couldn't beat the price point but both CV axle half shafts are damaged. I saw many reviews saying the same thing and I was hopeful they were rare occurances. Unfortunately, it was not. Sometimes I recieve packages from Amazon and they are boxes within boxes with bubblewrap between each one. Other times I recieve packages bashed and battered with excessive tape holding the boxes together. THIS was one of the latter. Boxes bashed so badly tape was used to forcibly hold them together. Not very happy with this being my first order from TRQ. Quality control would be able to easily spot excessive play on one side of each of them. They move so freely they knock which shows they have dead joints. No point even installing them because I can already tell they would be excessively noisy and fail very, very quickly.

I gave it 5 stars because I see that the product has many negative reviews. As for the fit, it is perfect on my 2014 Jeep Patriot Altitude 2.0 CVT transmission. So far so good, no strange noises or knocking. If any of that comes up I'll update my review.

They fit my car perfectly no problems so far

The installation of the axles went as smoothly as could be hoped. I was concerned about the removal of the snap ring that holds the bearing in the support on the passenger side, but it came right out. The passenger side replacement was trivial. The drivers side was a bit more difficult since I didn’t have a slide hammer. I pried the old axle out with a pickle fork, probably not the best method, but it worked. Installing the new axle was exactly as it should be. Aimed clip ring down, slid it in with a slight jiggle to line up the splines. A couple raps with a dead blow hammer, job done. I read one review where they pulled the joint apart. DON’T pull on the end of a CV axle for any reason. The only thing you will accomplish is an education on rebuilding them.The axle looks a little different, but is identical where it matters. The hub nut is a 30 mm 12 point, where my original was a 32mm 6 point. Nearly all my sockets are 6 point, so I had to spend 10 bucks on the appropriate socket. That’s the only complaint I had. Everything else was as good as it gets.

These were a direct fit for my 2006 Honda Odyssey they went in exactly like the existing ones with no issues at all after about 1 month of use they are still running smooth
