Works as they should and better!
These fans are extremely quiet, and whilst I ordered them to fulfil the need for front intake fans against some hard drives, I now can see the need to get some more of the Air Series to replace the standard case fans. They are much more noticeable now that I have the Corsairs to compare them to.As I have suggested the 'High Pressure' fans are designed to be placed against areas of your case that do not have large spaces to push air into or from e.g. front intake against hard drives or pulling air from the back of the CPU. The airflow is in fact great! The fan's exhaust has a strong current coming from them and they feel cool when you wave your hand in front. The room my computer is in is quite warm and the temps indicated are really good, staying around the 20s. Having had personal experience with higher temps has proven the worth of these great fans. On the point of airflow, the case fans in comparison, again, seem weak now and they're not old nor a bad brand. The last point is the coloured rings. They are a nice touch for those who like to customise and I'm glad to see that they haven't chosen some lurid colours for them. The white in fact, looks pretty good against my black case. All in all, they feel solidly built and sturdy. I had to source some other screws so they would work with my case but I believe this was a nuance of the case itself. I have the HighFlow edition double pack, also through Amazon, and have high expectations for when I fit them.I wouldn't hesitate to get some more and feel confident about Corsair as a brand. They always manage to create quality products.

SP120 Performance
I bought these knowing that they weren't going to offer any silencing what so ever, but will offer me higher airflow within the case itself. Now first things first, these fans come in Four variations and I shall list them below along with a description.- SP120 performance (blade designed to give more static pressure, for places with items that may obstruct airflow. Running at roughly 2300rpm, and get very noisy. Very good in a push pull configuration on water cooling radiators.)- SP120 quiet ( Same blade design and specs as Performance, but with a lower RPM to reduce sound.)- AF120 Performance (blade designed for general airflow, runs at high RPM like the SP performance, and again can still get very noisy.)- AF120 quiet (now exactly the same as the performance edition, but with lower RPM speeds to reduce sound.)I have owned the SP Performance fans for about a month now and i think there awesome, personally. I have them in a Bitfenix Ghost case being controlled via a Bitfenix recon. Now with this case having a door and silencing material it does help with the noise levels but still audible.I bought them for the reason that I wanted two fans in the front that went with my black and white colours scheme and looked very sleek, and was able to push air past all my hard drives and SSD quite easily. Now they do all of that and manage to keep my rig running incredibly cool, not to mention that's not even on full whack(2300rpm), I have them running roughly 1400rpm and still show immense signs of airflow in the case. There very easy to install and get up and running so that's always a bonus. (y)All in all theres not a lot more i could say about the product, apart from that they work and are definitely worth buying.

Must-buy upgrade if you have a restrictive case and a hot GPU!
Excellent replacement fans. If, like me, you chose a case over it's aesthetic appearance, rather than it's cooling , airflow, capabilities, but also have a power horking AMD graphics card, then these high static pressure fans are a must if you don't want to be renewing hardware every 6 months. To put things into perspective, I'm running an MSI AMD R9 390x gpu inside the NZXT Razr h440 case. During graphic intensive games like Fallout 4 and the Witcher 3, the GPU temperature would stick at 94c with no movement, despite the Twin Frozr's best efforts to cool things down. I suspected that the cause was the ambient hot air being pushed around inside the case, rather than being sucked out. So, I swapped out the rubbish exhaust and front fans supplied with this case with 3 of these bad boys at the front, and one Corsair AF140 at the back, exhaust position. The effect this had was instantly noticeable from the start- the amount of air these fans can push through the case is unbelievable. Now, my GPU running temps rarely go above 80c at maximum stress (typically stay around 75c in a cool, well ventilated room). The AMD R9 390x is a hot card, so this airflow upgrade was a must, and even gave me a bit of headroom for slight GPU overclocking. The only aspects of these fans that I don't like are the noise at full RPM and the stupid rubber mounting holes. You can't screw these in, unless you have bolts that can go straight through the holes, so don't bother using the screws supplied. The fans are quite low when being worked, but are generally quiet if at mind to low RPM. If your motherboard doesn't have 3/4 pin fan headers, invest in a fan controller because the sound will drive you mad if you're just web-browsing or doing a bit of work while these are spinning at max. There are silent versions, but I doubt their as effective as these for providing strong air flow. I would suggest configuring these fans to spool up dependent on GPU temperature using SpeedFan. Idle speeds will be suffice at cooling the rest of your system, providing you have a decent CPU cooler, you'll only really need maximum performance if your fans are obstructed by drive mounts or, like me, have a hot graphics card.All-in-all, excellent fans.
