Consistent
First MSN mouse must have lasted 20 years and is spare now. I wanted to replace it got worn out and bought some "cheap" alternatives in bargain shops. They worked but were inconsistent and not very good. Went back to MSN mouse and can't fault it: Well made. works on many surfaces and above all reliable. It uses 1 single AA battery which lasts a very long time and it switches itself off after period of no use.

Microsoft at its best
Really easy to set up works with Windows 11 perfectly : very responsive picked up laptop instantly : comfortable to handle functions perfectly for my needs : I'm not a gamer so not sure how it would handle games : battery provided and it's Duracell so should last at least a year : I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable product

Bought multiple of these, decent enough
Very cheap mouse with limited functions but works well enough. The tracking isn't too good, it's passable for the average user although if the G305 goes on sale it is a much better buy in my view as there is some clear stairstepping with this sensor even in normal usage. Nevertheless it is fine and very cheap, careful about dropping them however as the scroll wheel is easily broken in a fall. No side buttons is unfortunate and the dongle isn't made too well (sometimes come apart, need some superglue put on it to keep it in one piece in the USB socket). Not a big deal though and a decent enough mouse for the average user who doesn't care that much but doesn't want a Chinese unbranded product.

Decent Wireless Mouse
This is a fairly standard wireless mouse from Microsoft. I mainly chose it for it's tasteful purple, more dark violet colour. It works well, is a nice size and the battery life is exceptional (claiming up to 1 year). Duracell alkaline battery included. Good quality mouse at a good price. Delighted with it.

No Gimmicks, But Quality!
In search of a new mouse, I found that the TeckNet mice with extra buttons were some of the best selling... I was unsure, but I bought one because I believed the reviews. Long story short, the mouse came with a broken scroll wheel out of the box. So I returned it, and decided that I'd rather have a quality mouse straight from Microsoft and so far I haven't been disappointed. It's pretty basic at £10, it's not the most ergonomic, but I feel confident that it will last... One thing most people never discuss about wireless mice is the USB dongle that comes with it. I've had many wireless mice over the years and almost all of the adapters end up breaking, leaving the mouse useless... but this adapter has no creases along the plastic where it might split like other wireless mice do. Microsoft knows what they're doing when it comes to mice. I don't care about how many positive reviews other mice have, I want something that will last!

A great well designerd mouse. Love the color, the size, the feel and the way it works.
Usually I buy Logitech mice but wanted a "Hot Pink" mouse to match the sleeve I bought for my new laptop - I was finding my last Logitech mouse was struggling to open links I finally installed a new battery but had ordered the hot pink mouse by then. The new batteries did the trick on the old mouse but I just love the colour and feel of the hot pink one. The Microsoft mouse is just right for my largish female hand. It has a lift off back cover hiding the AA battery and a slot for storing the little plug or noddle as I call it. You get an Duracell battery in the packaging with the mouse but I always wonder about shelf life of these batteries but it seems ok. The "noddle" arrives in the transparent packing not hidden inside the mouse. There is also a "tiny" round button inset in the base of the mouse which proved to be an ON / OFF switch. Also a light which if your battery has any power in it will tell you if the mouse is switched on. Great that it is inset so nothing in my bag can slide it to the ON position. The noddle is all black which is a bit annoying as other coloured mice I have had have had a band of colour to differentiate between your mice. With the noddle plugged in to my laptop I used the mouse but went into settings (Windows 10) to check out the mouse and found I had to move the arrow a little to get a faster double click opening of the little folder. It really is good.

No problems, does the job
True plug and play; worked as expected immediately on installation - no downloads, messages, whatever - just plug the transceiver in, put the battery in the mouse, and it's up and running. It's small, which I like. The mouse therefore holds just one battery, so I'm not sure if battery life will be a problem. I've used this product for only a couple of days. If any problem arises with it in the future, I'll edit this review. But first impressions are that this is a good product.

Overall, good for the price
I bought this mouse mainly because it was at a good price and made by a trusted brand to go with a new laptop. After 10 months of daily use, firstly I must say that it is a good size and is responsive and not overly sensitive to movement. The battery rarely needs changing. Unfortunately, after two months the mouse started to malfunction a little bit. It works well and then will stop working / responding altogether intermittently e.g it will work for 30 minutes and then become non-responsive for 5 minutes and then work again for 10 minutes before becoming unresponsive for 20 minutes etc. Looking at the mainly positive feedback on here it seems that I've just been unlucky with this one.

Plusieurs années après l'achat, cette souris Microsoft fonctionne toujours à merveille, que ce soit sous Windows ou Linux Mint. Avec mon usage, une pile dure environ 5 mois.
