Q: Is this a genuine item from apple?

Sadly, it was not a genuine item from Apple. It failed soon after purchase. I did replace it with one bought from an accredited Apple supplier and that has worked well.

Q: Is this the complete charger.... does not show a plug!

Mine came with two UK wall plugs. One that comes with a cable and one that's just a head that connects directly to the block charger.

Q: do I get apple 1-year warranty if I buy from amazon?

If it is a genuine Apple product... Yes. Amazon have to honour it.

Q: Is this suitable for Mac Pro 2012 model a1398

Yes, this is a mag 2 connector and works with MacBook Pro retina 2012 model
