Highly recommended
Wasn't sure if this product would work after reading some of the reviews but I needed a solution to the flea problem so I brought this anyway. 100% works. Electrics the fleas just like it says it would. Highly recommend.

DOESNT WORK
Went all over my cats with it no flees no zapping sound next day still flees on my cat, get some frontline flea ointment put one of the lil sachets on the back of its neck and fold the skin into a crease on its neck hold it for a few seconds so it seeps in do this once every 3 months, then get yourself some cat flea collars, hoover your hole house behind cupboards, pull beds out a complete spring clean and then throw down some flea hoover powder down leave for 1 hour then hoover up put the powder behind the cupboards and under beds, pull the lot out again when hoovering, if you see anything that looks like a lil silver fish insect knocking about where the fleas usually where then you still have them, a flea will lay a egg that will turn into a grub which will turn into one of them silver fish looking things, then it will turn into a cocoon and a flea will pop out of that. The flea powder kills the eggs and grubs, the flea ointment kill the fleas on the cat, and the cat flea collar is covered in flea powder so when the cat scratches itself it will flick that powder over its body and that will kill the remaining eggs and grubs on the cat, if you still have them after all that look for flea bombs, there lil smoke bombs you have to stay out of your house for a day or two so maybe go on a lil holiday if you have to do that but this zapper thing doesn't work.

Very effective but don't ditch your spot on treatment just yet
This is a great flea killer. Used it on my cats and I was not sure if it was working or not. I then used it on a family members newest addition, a lovely little ragdoll. As soon as we combed over her neck we could hear zapping! Needless to say the zapping was a sign of a flea being electrocuted. The cat was full of them so we ran the comb over several times but fleas are flat so we still had many just living their best life in her gorgeous black and white coat. Did this kill them all? No. Did it catch many? Yes it did. Does it collect the dead fleas like nit combs? No,it is not fine toothed. Is it worth it? Yes because it will kill them but I would highly recommend a bath to get the deceased fleas out of their host and to catch any strays who thought they were safe.Regular use of this will give you a good indication of whether your pet has a flea issue as the zaps are usually for large fleas, not even sure if eggs are killed but none of our cats has had anymore unwelcome guests but we do bathe them regularly. I would suggest a cheap nit comb alongside this too go over with after using this comb, helps with the dead bodies.

Awesome ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
RATINGS:Ease of use 5/5Comfort 4.5/5Effectiveness 5/5Construction 5/5Robustness 5/5Value for money 5/5Overall 5/5 🤩Having read the reviews, I was sceptical on whether this would work or not.I inserted the two batteries… nothing 😖.However upon fiddling them in and out it finally worked. Our cat has had a bout of resistant fleas. No collar, drops or spray treatments have helped. The dog treatments have kept them off the dogs. But the cat has been harassed. We have been using fine flea combs and sticking them straight in boiling water , however the blighters often escape the comb blades and jump off to later re-infest her. This device Rocks, despite being plastic, it is well made and feels of decent quality.Whilst at first it’s a bit clumsy in the hand, you get used to it.After I started combing the blades seem to wide to catch anything. Then suddenly ZAP and some small ⚡️sparking with a faint 🔥burning smell. Got one! After carrying on for about a minute I had fried several. They dropped out dead. Some even quite small. Some crumbled up upon cleaning. The cat seemed to like this over a standard comb and I got a massive sadistic pleasure from hearing the critters fry. This company could have enclosed a cleaning brush of some sort, I used one from my hair clippers. But all in all this was a GREAT purchase (possibly my best this year).

Didn't work for us.
Having 8 cats, we thought this would be a worthwhile gadget but we were wrong. We've tried it on all our cats and not zapped a singled flea but when we use our good old fashioned manual flea comb we removed live fleas. This comb removed zero fleas.
