Deda Elementi Handlebar Tape

Great bar tape! The adhesive tape is a bit too soft, and sticks to the handlebar too much, after you have to remove it from wear and tear. Means you have to clean it a bit more. But the overall road feel that you get from the handlebars, is nice. Nice grip, as well. Can't go wrong with it! Plus, the color is good.

This is the stuff I had on my bike previously and as I am changing my brakes and shifters I needed new handlebar wrap. As a disclaimer, I can't really compare this product to other ones as this is the only one I have really had experience with. I have had the old stuff on for well over 3 years. I haven't used it terribly hard. A few 50k rides and many shorter rides, usually under 10k. There was never a problem with adhesion. Of course, it will tear and rip if scuffed around, but I would say that it held up very well. The comfort is about 3 or 4 stars, it isn't really super, but it is decent. I would say that it is good value for your money, particularly for those who don't ride a whole bunch. I can't say what it is like for those who ride more often and longer rides. I am planning a bike trip of about 600k. I will try to update this review if it turns out that the wrap does not do well for the trip.

I fitted this bar tape yesterday and have ridden with it once so far, but already it has made a very positive impression on me. Until my last two attempts I haven't particularly enjoyed fitting bar tape, but now I guess I have had enough practice to make a reasonable job of it. I found this tape actually very easy to fit. The adhesion was really good, it was straightforward to get it lined up in the right places, and I'm particularly thrilled with the finish. There was plenty of excess on my 40cm drop bars, and therefore I didn't require the extra small offcuts for the shifters. The colour is vibrant and the logo detail is nice and understated. Some people like things a particular way may not like the fact the the logo faces in different directions on the tops and the drops, but that's not an issue for me! In terms of comfort, I've fitted this onto a dedicated turbo bike so I can't comment on it's shock absorbency, but it felt great whilst sitting in front of Zwift for 90 minutes. It's probably not going to be the most sweat repellant tape you'll find, but at this price my plan is to just replace it every 3 months or so when it gets too smelly.

I have 2 bikes and change the tape once a year because it's easy and cheap to do so .I always buy dead element because its easy to fit, looks really good and very cheap.The tape would last longer but I just like changing it to look new. Definitely a bargain and a great comfortable nice looking tape.

I found this bar tape very easy to wrap. I've wrapped a few bars over the years with mixed results mostly due to the type of tape I was using at the time. This bar tape was very easy to handle, had the whole job done in next to no time. Decent results too. The finishing tape isn't great but I find that's usually the case with any bar tape, certainly the ones I've used. Much prefer to use electricians tape. Overall, this bar tape was great and of very good quality, definitely buy again.

The good: This is a very cheap option for wrapping your bars, but perfectly good at that job. It has just the right amount of stretch and give to achieve a nice, tight wrap, it looks good when it's finished and is very comfortable to hold. It offers both a firm grip and enough padding to be comfortable. The not-so-good: You need to get it right first time, because the adhesive is stronger than the tape: that is, if you try to unwrap and re-apply a bit, it's very likely to tear. It's not prone to tearing while you're wrapping, but take care that you never need to unwrap. In summary: Good but not great. The package contains tape, end plugs, two small additional sections to go round the back of the brake levers (you'll probably want to shorten these) and two tiny bits of tape to finish the wrap with, as if you don't own a roll of insulating tape.

It is ok for the money but I've had better for similar costs. This is very rigid and brittle when installing and with minimal pull when wrapping the bars it snapped around the hoods when doing the figure of 8. Also, the adhesive backing is tacky but packs proper adhesion. The wrap itself is quite short and I had to compromise in overlap in order to cover a 44mm wide compact handlebar. The tape provided is nice and the end caps decent. Overall, I think you get what you paid for and the comfort is decent. Better options out there for same price though.

After a few months after I put it on my handlebar no problem at all. Good quality material I'm Happy with it

EVA素材のバーテープの中では僕が使った中ではトップクラスの品質だも思います。 まず両面テープが付いているのと良く伸びる ので巻きやすいです。 またDedaの文字の凹凸が滑りにくくさせています。 実際に雨や汗で濡れてもグリップ力が落ちにくいバーテープだと思います。 しかし綿などと比べるとやはりグリップ力は落ちます。 Dedaの文字の凹凸が更にグリップ感とオシャレ感・高級感をあげてくれています。 ただ両面テープが強力過ぎて巻くときに失敗しても剥がしにくい所があります。

Es fácil de colocar, trae cinta de sobra para el manillar y la parte posterior de las manetas. Al tacto es cómoda, lástima que se deteriora con relativa facilidad.

持ちやすさ、デザイン良しです。 もともと汚れにくいですが、たまに汚れたときにそのまま軽く水洗いしても問題ないです。 巻く時に最後の巻き終わりをカットしてから引っ張ったら切れました。そこだけ少し気をつけるといいと思います。
