Knitting for the Absolute Beginner (Absolute Beginner Craft)

I hadn't knitted for a few years, so I bought this book to remind me how to do certain stitches etc, its very easy to follow and had good photos to show you exactly how to do things. The book is exactly what I needed for a quick reference/reminder. I thoroughly recommend this book.

Nice pictures with instructions but 100’s of books like this, bought 2nd hand, glad I did not buy new. This can all be found on internet

This is the second copy of this book that I have purchased. I got the first, just to see if I could use it with the kids I work with, to help them when I was not there to show them how to knit, or the other tips and tricks I could show them. Well, that first book was a godsend! So now the second one is also for them as on occasions' two of the girls were squabbling over who would need it most! As there are two more girls now wanting to learn to knit, I may need to buy more copies. It has helped them understand not only how to knit, but how to read a pattern and the patterns that are included have been their inspiration to try and make items for Christmas presents which being handmade are truly appreciated by friends and family alike.

Lovely book. Lovely handy size , simple explanations. Only thing I don't like about it is that Alison tell you a branded wool to use ( Rowan wool) and the first project I pulled up I did a search for the specific wool only to find it had been discontinued! I wish she'd given more open suggestions for the wool like weight and general type . It took me quite some time to find a similar wool based on ball weight and length.

The book is easy to read and the information is very helpful and useful for beginners

Beautifully done, spiral bound book. Truley step by step simple instructions with clear pic. Excellent resource for the true beginner. I would purchase again!!!

Je ne voit pas grand chose sur la version Kindle. J'ai beau agrandir les caractères, l'image, etc., rien n'y fait. Ce livre ne me sert à rien. I've enlarged the letters, the page, still I Can't see anything on kindle

Loved it! It was so easy to follow. I can’t wait to do more projects. I definitely gained some confidence.
