Must try
Picked this up mainly for quick fixes and small projects, and it does the job. It’s compact, easy to store, and surprisingly comes with a lot of accessories right out of the box which makes it very beginner-friendly. It’s straight-forward to use and works well for light fabrics, simple hems, and basic repairs. Great buy!

Awful product.
Thread jams and doesn't stitch. It was cheap but you get what you paid for. Weak thread. Very small and fragile plastic. Little girl was very upset. We bought a Brother brand and haven't had any problems.

Love it so much <3
I typically don’t write reviews but seeing as this only had 3.8 stars I had to let others know how much I love this machine! I have never used a sewing machine in my life but this machine is so simple to use with the different stitch settings and the needles are great, I got this machine to alter my pants as I am only 5ft and hated not being able to find short friendly pants. All the jeans I’ve altered have had no issues whatsoever with the thread unthreading and it’s been at least a month since I sewed it! I see people are saying the thread gets jammed or what not and that did happen to me when I first switched fabric but after playing around with the tension knob I was able to get it to work just fine :) like I said I really only use the machine for simple alteration when needed so I don’t know how it would hold up for someone who uses a sewing machine very often but as someone who only needs it on occasion it is literally perfect and I love the size as it makes it so easy to store in my office and the bag is perfect for holding everything that comes with it :)

Great for beginners and everyone else too
Very good sewing machine I don’t feel it’s just for beginners because it works very well and it’s mostly quiet when it’s working pretty easy to thread haven’t had any jams and has awesome instructions as well

Can’t believe it works!
I purchased this for my 9 year old granddaughter a month prior to her birthday so I could thoroughly check it out. It’s a little loud and clunky and I certainly wish it had an adjustable lower stitch speed setting so it could go slower but all it all I was terribly impressed. Forget the cord as it’s rather short and do I really want my 9 year old messing with plugs? No. The batteries work fine and makes it so much more useable and portable. I was happy to find I could purchase more metal bobbins on Amazon as the bobbin winder wasn’t great for a smooth fill. But I was also happy to see it took standard machine needles and snap on feet (like my Brother machine). I think the built in stitches are more than she will need and it stitches well. Threading is pretty straight forward but some may struggle threading the needle front to back as the throat area is very small (use a threader). Directions are well described on the machine. It should have included a wheel direction label too as this is where it may jam (user error). Only turn the wheel toward you! This machine is great for beginners or those who just need to mend something quick. I did have to take out and replace (the same ones) batteries when it jammed a bit but I was trying all kinds and thicknesses of fabrics. Stitching was still good. I did check it all out and felt the trouble shooting guide was excellent. Note that the bobbin case inside is only held in place by the inside top of the screwed in plate by two plastic pegs to keep the case top from turning and it might be worth providing a photo of that for those who may wish to repair or deeper clean their little machine. Note too that the accompanying spools of thread are not great quality. I replaced them and filled extra bobbins for the thread spool too as it is a narrow spool area. This works great so she can match top and bottom thread colors easily. I also made a dust cover with the exposed handle and foot pedal bag for her to keep it all dust free. We will see how long my it lasts.

Compact and lightweight machines are great for small spaces or travel.

Halfway works
I just received my machine & took it out to test it. The machine works just fine using the on and off button however, the foot pedal does not work at all. I tried unplugging it & plugging it back in, still nothing. Will have to return so I can get one with a working pedal. Didn’t fully get to test out the rest, but it seems fine.

Piece of crap!
This is the 2nd machine I'm returning. The first one was a different brand and wouldn't work properly either (similar type machine), so I explored and found this one with mostly good reviews. I should've read the poor reviews because that is exactly what this machine deserves. Before giving this to my granddaughter (the first one I gave her for Christmas and I didn't open it to test it out - it got returned for lack of working- it kept jamming). So this is the replacement I bought. I had it sent to myself so I could test it out before giving to her. I sewed the elastic band inside my pajamas perfectly. It worked like a charm. I decided I would cut up a t-shirt and sew some seams and do some test stitches to give to my granddaughter along with the machine. I did this immediately after sewing the pajamas. I hadn't changed any settings or anything. When trying to sew the tshirt, the thread kept coming out of the needle. I kept rethreading it but then when the thread didn't come out, it would constantly jam and not sew any stitches at all. The needle broke! I tried putting a new needle in that came with the machine. The needle would not go in (flat side to the right as per instructions). I have experience with sewing machines and know how to thread a machine and replace needles. No matter what I did while the screw was loose, the needle would not go into the hole. I guess I'm going to have to spend a little more money so my granddaughter doesn't get disappointed with a crappy machine. DON'T BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP! This machine isn't worth a quarter!
