Very very hard to find, no matter where you look online A great movie holds up today was done with ILM for effects ( best in the business or was for many years dif Jurassic Park terminator etc ) This is a great action adventure, for the family , for a boys night , or just a movie night If you have seen this it’s a great nostalgia movie This is Sky’s last big hit. I was released on 4K only a few got delivered in the states , due to it been pulled. Don’t pay €300-€500 euro for the UHD4K Blu ray This looks amazing & will be back out in the future in 4K But it could be years. So buy this are they are like gold dust, Great visuals and soundtrack acting is great the way it holds up as a lot was done in camera or miniatures that look amazing If you own a Blu ray player or PS4 or PS5 same with X-Box it will ups did it to 4K anyway on most players & consoles So grab this. I got this. It said very good condition. It’s like new not a mark on it. The case bug most importantly the disc is perfect You get lots with it too. Extras. A great find for anyone who loves disaster movies This twister Dante’s peak volcano Deep impact Armageddon etc BUT…you need to add DAYLIGHT to your collection If you have not seen it. In short a tunnel in NY explodes trapping people in the middle 70+ feet under water ( a tunnel under a river ) Both ends are blocked , the air is bad , they are trapped and who will make it That’s daylight in a very short take but does it no justice The acting and editing & sound are amazing! Delighted with my copy. 5 stars with this vendor for sure!

If you think of the most used characters in disaster movies and listed them, they're all in Daylight. Nevertheless, its still a fun watch and definitely worth your time. The cast is good, and there is quite a lot of tension. Recommended

Massively effecting disaster movie with some truly mind boggling sfx. Sly is, as always, commanding and heroic in the lead. Amy Brenneman, from Heat (1996), is a wonderful damsel in distress slash heroine. Viggo Mortensen buys the farm early on. Danielle Harris from the halloween films is nowhere nearly as film ruining as she was then as she is here. That guy from Con Air who wore a dress appears here in a less disturbing role. The always dependable Dan Hedaya is dependable here. The older lady from Disclosure has a brief role as a stupid exec who thinks they know better. There's a charming chemistry between a doomed Stan Shaw (Snake Eyes) and a teary Vanessa Lee Calloway (it's possibly Bell not Lee). There's the obligatory dog that always makes me cry. That blonde woman from jaws the revenge is in this film. And Jay O. Sanders is her hubbie. This film was always gonna live and die by its effects and thankfully they are A+

In the late 1990's there was a small spat of disaster movies that all came out with about a year of eachother. Daylight is the (unjustly) forgotten one which gives us a group of people trapped in an underwater tunnel following a toxic explosion. Making matters worse the place is falling apart around them and waters gradually seeping in. While Stallone actually contains himself quite well for his role, its the lead female whom makes the film for me. Amy Brenneman is completely believable with her fear, annoyance and disbelief in her situation and makes the journey very entertaining. The stunts are good and the effects are done well - although I have noticed in the big explosion - no one is actually in any of the cars that get blown up! Overall its an enjoyable action/disaster film that doesn't try to be moralistic and just provides good old fashioned popcorn fun and there's nothing wrong with that!

One of mine and wifes favourite Stallone films, along with a very young LOTR Viggo Mortenson as the owner of a sports shoes manufacturer "The territory beyond".....This is one film that does quite a good job of introducing you to the main charactors, little by little, so you know something about them. Its special effects and screen play is still mind boggling even after all these years it been out. At the end, a very sombre scene, above the water, shows the Twin Towers behind, in all there majestic glory, and its still hard to see them, and know, they are no longer Standing. So a roller coaster ride of thrills and spills, and watch out for Stallones trip trying to get down to the tunnel to do a rescue attempt by way of the huge ventilation fans.!! An underestimated good acted , well written script and video and sound are well reproduced from the original DVD. recommended :)

The Backdraft disc was clean and played okay but the Daylight disc was dirty and had marks and scratches of it causing errors on the DVD player. Item was advertised as being Like New which is not the case. I won’t bother returning as it’s too much hassle 🤨

Película que nunca falla. Pánico en el Túnel me encanta: acción continua, tensión bien llevada y un ritmo que engancha de principio a fin. Ideal si disfrutas del cine de catástrofes.

I am happy to share that I enjoyed the movie, and it arrived at my house safely with no scratch. I love the actor Sylvester Stallone and the movie taught some principles that may be beneficial to society. It is a good learning tool, and the story was great according to my observation. I do not have much to say, but for those who have not watched it, just give it watch :)
