I have a deep appreciation of teapots fashioned in the style of houses, I have thatched cottage houses and post offices pots, I love them all, this one is no exception and will be this year’s Christmas teapot. I would have liked a lid that fit more snugly but It’s not too much of an issue. On the whole, this teapot is made to a high standard and I very much like it. It has the capacity to make at least four brews. It’s not an ‘Over-the-top’ Christmassy pot, I would definitely say it’s subtle, but looks very attractive and will look fantastic come the big day. I don’t think I will follow up on the collection though, the pot’s enough for me in this line. The quality is great, for what is a mass-produced item, and I highly recommend.

The KitchenCraft The Nutcracker Collection Ceramic Teapot House is delivered in its own branded cardboard box with a image on the front that depicts the contents, the box is secure and packed in such a way as to prevent damage by the main body or lid coming into contact with each other. This is a lovely item, soi much so that my wife decided that it was not to be used as a teapot, but as a festive season ornament – and I must say now that it is in situ it really does look the festive part. As a teapot it would be very heavy at 1.3 Kg without any tea inside, it is supplied as a two part item, lid and body, no infuser is supplied for loose leaf tea. It is well made and as I said a lovely item, forming part of a ‘Nutcracker Collection’ set if you wanted to own all of the pieces. It does state that it should be hand washed which makes sense given it is hand painted. A lovely item to use as a teapot or ornament and very giftable – it is rather expensive at £34.99 (a 6% discount is currently available off that price at the time of this review.

This is a high-quality teapot in a cute house festive-themed design. It is high-painted and as such is only able to be hand-washed. I love how quirky the teapot is and that it is nicely presented, so very giftable – that’s if you can part with it yourself! I liked that it is large, so can hold 1.2L. This makes it perfect to pair with the other range for special festive family get-togethers with some sweet treats. Overall, beautiful quality and is good, if not better, than the pictures in the product description. 100% recommended.

This is a stunning + quirky well-made Nutcracker Collection Ceramic Teapot House. The attention to detail of the whole item as well as the hand paint is beautiful and really adds to the character and would make a wonderful gift to someone. Although no cups are added you can buy the matching Soldier mugs. The large size of the teapot means you will also get a lot of cups and mugs filled. As this is hand painted it is advised to hand wash only to prevent any damage. Highly recommended.

I like that it’s a feature piece part of the nutcracker collection, it’s unique and quirky, it’s hand painted well across most of the tea pot, it comes with a 12 month guarantee so if you are unhappy with the finish you could easily contact for an exchange, despite the missing glossy finish on my ones spout I will still make good use of this as I think it will be a good item to have out at Christmas time with the detailing of the fairy lights round the roof areas, and I love the matching mugs and accessories you can get to build up the collection, it’s large pot so if using for tea you would get lots of cups out of it,

I collect teapots and this is a great addition to my collection. Good size and fantastic details. It arrived very quickly and was packaged well so there was no damage to the item. Overall, great product and was better than described, high quality, and exactly what I was wanting when I ordered it. I would recommend this teapot for yourself or as a Christmas gift.

This teapot looks really lovely and exactly the same as in product pictures. It is quite large which is great for tea lovers like me. However, I was a bit disappointed by a few things. First, this teapot arrives without an infuser. This is really a shame because I like using loose tea leaves and herbs to make tea, which is why I often need an infuser. Another irritating thing is how clunky and loud this teapot is. It is heavy to hold even without any water and really loud when opening and closing the lid. There is no soft material or rubber used near the lid to make it closer, nicer and quieter. Considering the price of this item, I was expecting these things because they generally make teapots nicer to use and feel of high quality. Finally, another not great detail is that the lid is attached to the body of the teapot very loosely so when I pour the tea, I always need to hold the hot lid in place to make sure it doesn’t fall down. This is also irritating because the lid is so hot at the time tea is ready that I always burn my hand a bit while holding it. Therefore, this teapot is not of the quality I expected when looking at product images and price. Therefore, I give it 3 stars.
