Subwoofer Cable

I bought this to link a CD transport to an amp. The quality of this cable for the price is very good. The RCA plugs get a good grip on the connector's of the CD player and amp, however they don't grip so tight that you feel that pulling the cable out could rip the connector off like monster cables, which is very good news :) in fact, I would say that the RCA plugs on this cable, are amongst the best I've ever used. The build quality is very good as well and the cable feels really well made and should last a good long time. The cable, being well shielded is quite thick and has some weight to it, however, it's still easily light enough to not put strain on the RCA ports of equipment. It's reasonably flexible too. In terms of sound quality, I can't really comment because, in my case I'm using it as a digital lead, so it either works or it doesn't, I can say that it definitely hasn't hurt the sound from my CD player and the sound of CD's sounds great to me ears. I'm sure that if I were to use it as an analog cable for a Subwoofer, then it would work really well because the RCA plugs make really good connection and the cable is really well shielded. Overall, if you're looking for a well made digital coax cable, this is a very good option.

It’s an RCA cable for a subwoofer. Works great so far (day 1) and don’t anticipate any issues as it’s solidly built. Thick cable, decent flex, exactly what I needed.

Solid build with great connectors that fit just right, not too tight or loose. Great shielding on this as well so perfect for long runs, I did buy two of these as I needed a stereo signal from my Dac to a pair of powered monitors at the other end of the room and found that the cable is quite thick especially when running a pair of these, only just about fitted in 16mm cable trunking, so bear that in mind if the cable needs to be hidden.

Very good quality for the price

I have four years been troubled by mains hum from the sub when feeding my subwoofer from the low-level RCA output from my active speakers. Before this cable, I tried all sorts of solutions including a relatively expensive interconnect, ferrite cores and even a wireless link. All resulted in mains hum appearing after 20 to 30 minutes of being on. I’ve left the system on for 24 hours with audio being fed through and also none and there is no main hum leaking though A great success
