I have several cameras and several cases for them, so I have other cases to compare them to.I have had this case for about 2 weeks and I can say it's a good solid case. The cut outs in the side are a perfect fit for cables and I've used it whilst it has been plugged in. The buttons are also lined up perfectly so can be used without hesitation.The back door is secured by a hinge and this is always the weak point on any of these cases. So far this seems to be very well made, it doesn't feel like it's made from cheap materials and will last me a long time.The camera fits inside the case very snugly and does not allow it to move about. The attachments that came with it are also very good, attaches straight on to other components and works well.Not much more I can say, but I'd happy get more of these if I get more cameras.

Mixed feelings on this housing. It appears to be of good quality, however, just as others have commented the problem you will find is with the catch mechanism. After 4 or 5 times closing it the catch broke. When it does it's not recoverable. Fortunately I have an official gopro waterproof case and the catch from it fits this case perfectly. Note that I also have an original older style gopro case where the catch is not transferable. As I simply needed a case to be able to attach an external microphone it was the cutout that was important. Used it to fit to a chest mount for a couple of weeks and it worked perfectly. Just need to swap the catch back over when I want to use the waterproof case. If you need a case for your gopro and willing to swap over a catch from a spare official case then this should do the job. Otherwise you may want to start with something more reliable.

So I wanted to use my GoPro Hero 4 silver as a dashcam for my RV but to do that it really needs a constant power supply. Normal GoPro housings do not offer access to the power inlets. This unit does.My only bugbear with this unit is that I can't get the solid back off to replace it with my open back as my GoPro is touch screen.It's not a huge issue as I can control my GoPro via the app.Looks sturdy enough and my GoPro fits in nice and snug.Feels good quality construction. Not unlike genuine GoPro fittings.Overall I am happy with my purchase.

Door feels tight and since the clasp is a common fail point care needs to be taken to be sure it is properly in the fine notch.Fits Hero4 well enough with all buttons working with a firm press. It feels similar to the supplied GoPro case, better than a previous 3rd party one which broke after being used only a few weeks.Can't quite get sd card out without removing from case!

My experience with this housing is that every time I open it the locking latch comes unclipped from the housing and I have to clip it back on which is very inconvenient. I have a number of housings for my Hero 4 and non of the others do this. I'm not the only purchaser of this housing to experience this fault.UPDATEWhilst on a driving holiday around Ireland during which the latch broke away, as a result of this happening I had to hold the back cover closed with tape for the rest of the holiday. They say you get what you pay for, in this case it's true.......

This will work ONLY with the camera, also take rear cover off to change the rear cover and it is not compatible with the GoPro lids. The hinge on this product is smaller. So I can ONLY use this with the camera and not with the rear attachment LCD screen.The clip to close lid came off and would not go back on that easy as the plastic it slots into was so soft.The hinge on this is smaller than the other hinges on Gopro approved rear covers. Will ONLY buy GoPro original items from now on.

Bought two of these. I opened the first one and the hinge cracked straight off so the metal hinge fell out. Luckily I was able to take the same clip off my own GoPro case and attach it so it works. This would immediately have been rendered useless otherwise! I have been fairly worried the other will also snap, don't have a huge amount of confidence now and it's a tight fit so can't be more careful as it's meant to be a tight snap on/off!

Buyer be ware.Bought this 18 days ago and the retaining clip is already broken!I have 6 original GoPro housings and NONE ever suffered this fate!The clip is made of cheap plastic so the retaining clip hinge will initial splay apart preventing the clip from making a good bond. Eventually after holding the clip in place and engaging the tag a few time it broke completely.

Das Gehäuse ist grundlegend solide verarbeitet und ähnelt den Originalen von Gopro sehr. Die Kamera passt sauber rein und sitzt gut. Wasserdichtigkeit ist bei diesem Gehäuse kein Thema, weil eben die Seite offen ist, damit die Anschlüsse im Betrieb erreichbar sind (z.B. um sie an einer dauerhaften Stromversorgung zu betreiben). Theoretisch könnte man zufrieden sein, wenn da nicht 2 große Macken wären, mit denen ich mich rumschlagen muss:1) der schwarze Verschluss ist nicht besonders fest an dem Bügel befestigt. Wenn man das Ding nicht ganz vorsichtig auf macht, springt es jedes mal vom Bügel ab und man muss es mühselig wieder dran fummeln.2) der schlimmere Punkt: Die Knöpfe sind nicht besonders sauber verarbeitet. Sie drücken sich schwer, was alleine kein Drama wäre. Aber was gar nicht geil ist: der Seitenknopf (für den Funktionsknopf der Kamera) erreicht den Knopf an der Kamera gar nicht. Der Knopf am Gehäuse lässt kaum ein kleines Stückchen eindrücken und somit ist die Funktionstaste komplett unerreichbar, solange die Kamera in diesem Gehäuse steckt. Also muss man die jedes mal rausholen, wenn man was an den Einstellungen drehen muss. Ist nicht das Ende der Welt, aber je nachdem, wie oft man in die Optionen muss, kann das schon sehr nerven.Also jeder, den diese beiden Punkte nicht stören, kann das Gehäuse bedenkenlos kaufen. Den grundlegend erfüllt es seinen Job. Aber mit Perfektion darf man nicht rechnen, denn ich gehe stark davon aus, dass es große Qualitätsschwankungen bei der Herstellung von dem Ding gibt (kommt garantiert aus einer Billigfabrik in China) und dass verschiedene Versionen von dem gleichen Gehäuse verschiedene Macken haben können. Kann sein, dass bei jemand anderem die Knöpfe gut funktionieren, dafür aber was anderes stört.

L'ho comprata qualche tempo fa e iniziata ad utilizzare solo adesso per softair.Premetto subito quando non la uso la tengo aperta per non tenere sottopressione la cerniera. Inoltre la uso per softair attaccata all'elmetto e non subisce urti fortissimi, anzi quasi mai.Purtroppo, nonostante i miei accorgimenti, dopo averla utilizzata 3 volte, la cerniera di plastica che tiene chiusa la custodia si è completamente spaccata. La cosa è veramente fastidiosa visto che l'ho utilizzata pochissimo e facendoci attenzione.

Ein Transportschutz existierte im Grunde nicht - dies lag sicher nicht an der von Amazon Verwandten Versandumverpackung sondern auch daran der in der Produktverpackung keinerlei Schutz des Glases vor den Kanten der Cages vorhanden war.Der AluCage ist ganz okay, stabil und gut verarbeitet.Die Cam wackelt darin geringfügig wenn man kräftig schüttelt und das auch nur nach vorn und hinten - ein kleines bisschen Moosgummi und alles ist i.O.Die Gläser jedoch sind absoluter Schrott.Das erst kam schon kaputt aus der Verpackung, das zweite löst sich nach etwas über einer Woche nun langsam an den Rändern. Die Cam wurde in der Zeit etwa 3 Std genutzt und war immer im Originalcage.Den Objektivdeckel kann man mit dem AluCage gut nutzen und er schützt die Linse ausreichend.

Case come da foto. Apertura laterale perfetta, il cavo che inserisco non ha alcun problema a rimanere e l’apertura non ostacola l’entrata di eventuali cavi. Utilizzo in abito aeronautico come registratore ATC e Intercom. Nel complesso il case è robusto è simile all'orginale. Finora non ho avuto alcun problema è la gopro hero 4 black entra alla perfezione (non sta stretta come mi aspettavo). Prodotto consigliato anche perché può essere collegato il cavo di alimentazione per poter usare la camera per più tempo.

Mi sa che stavolta non ho fatto un buon acquisto...Plastica veramente scadente. Sembra quasi rompersi sotto le mani quando chiudo la GoPro nella custodia... Per 10 euro potevano impegnarsi di più. Come dimensioni ci siamo. Ha l'apertura laterale per metterci un cavo di alimentazione e hdmi miniPer questo l ho acquistata
