Easy to set up and worked great until Android 14 update came out around October 2023 and caused issues with Android Auto's wireless connection. Ottocast Tech support via email was extremely helpful, communicated promptly, and even sent video links to assist with completing a factory reset and a firmware update. Unfortunately, the A2Air still did not work with updated version of Android. The company is aware of my problem and will be sending me a replacement. Otherwise, I loved the device for 3 months after I purchased it. Not having to plug in my phone to my 2023 Subaru BRZ Limited to use Android Auto was wonderful.

I purchased this unit in January of this year (2023) and set it up in a few minutes. I love the convenience of wireless Android Auto that this unit provides, which enables Google Maps, Spotify, WhatsApp, Messenger and several other apps on my car screen. It worked flawlessly for about 6 months and then stopped working. I contacted Julie at Ottocast and after sending me troubleshooting instructions that did not fix the problem, she kindly replaced my A2 Air with a new unit. I received the second unit and had the same problem (my car could not "find" my phone to continue install. I again contacted Julie and she sent me the upgraded version, the A2 Air Pro. After fiddling around for a while (and using the Ottopilot App which is a great help) I discovered that the problem was not the unit, but the Android Auto App on my phone. As per the Ottopilot instructions, I enabled the developer mode in my phone's Android Auto App and checked that Wireless Android Auto was enabled. It was, but I checked the box to disable it and enabled it again and voila, the A2 Air Pro connected immediately. There have been a lot of returns of this item, but I guarantee you it has been user error or failure to follow the instructions closely that caused people to return this product. When installed correctly, it connects to my phone seconds after my car screen comes on. I highly recommend this product and the excellent customer service behind it!

Product required a firmware update (I think) would not connect to spotify. Unable to connect to ip in order to accomplish this. I was not willing to download the required files from a Chinese site on my computer to transfer files and update firmware. Not only that, box was open upon arrival and did not have the pin tool that goes into the device to reset it. I would not recommend this product. Seems fraudulent. Buyer beware.

Excellent product, for many reasons. First, the vendor has excellent customer service. They reached out theough delivery to advise of setup instructions, so when the device arrived I was ready to install. Installation is relatively easy, buf for Android there are several critical steps you have yo follow.....it is all explained in the small instruction manual. The device is very compact, and stows out of sight under the media outlet panel.Lastly and most importantly, this solved the Kia Telluride 2022 Android connectivity issues, where my phone kept disconnecting from the car media device constantly. Now it stays connected, even after phone calls (which is a Kia/Android Auto issue). Could not be happier with the purchase.

I love it for the price. The most annoying thing is when you leave the car while running you have to completely shut the car down & reconnect. Occasionally it doesn’t connect & you have to do the same

I bought two, one for my father and one for me.We both have Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra's that are around a year and a half old so the charging slot is worn a little over time. They charge fine but disconnect intermittently with bumps and turns on the roads when connected with a charging cable.These were so easy to connect. And have worked like a charm right away. It takes a half a minute to connect after starting the vehicle but that is no inconvenience.It has only been a couple of weeks so there is that caveat, but so far I am thrilled with the item.We both have Genesis G80s and have no clue as to why they went with wired android auto connections instead of bluetooth. Such an unwise decision. It is so much more convenient to simply get into the car and not even have to think about a connection.Don't think twice. One of the better buys that I have made in quite a while.I cannot recommend this product enough.

Realistically, this device will only support one user, so if you share a vehicle, and want 2 or more drivers to be able to wirelessly use Android Auto, this is not the device for you.For a single driver, it works reasonably well.

Pros: fast connection. able to store out of sight.Cons: android battery drains quicker than iPhone. Has a bright blue led light if not able to be store in a compartment of some sort.Overall: Great quality. No sound loss. Just connect to your vehicles blue tooth and it works.

Très facile d'installation avec mon Samsung S22 , il y a quelques étapes simple. Installer Android auto sur son cell jumelé le avec votre auto, branché ottocast dans la prise usb de la voiture et aller dans votre téléphone à connexion, Bluetooth et jumelé le avec votre téléphone et c'est tout.
