Q: What number battery is supplied with the kit? Is it a CR2032?

Sorry I cant remember, it was a while ago that I had mine changed. click the two halves apart and you will see the battery.

Q: My lock switcher moves about and doesn't work. How do I solder new one on.

I'm not sure what you mean by moves about. However, my locking button fell apart when I tried to change the battery in the key. The kit provides a new button but it is very small so you have to have good eyes or a magnifier to complete the repair. I used a magnifier that I keep for model making and set it up so that both hands were free and I could see the parts clearly. I carefully unsoldered the remains of the old button then placed the new one in situ. This is very finicky and takes a lot of patience but it can be done. Once in the right place I carefully soldered the connections and reassembled the key. The button now works although I have to confess that the remote locking on my old car is a bit hit and miss probably due to a fault in the system. Nevertheless, the repair kit does work if you are careful, so good luck. Best wishes - Peter

Q: Do I need to solder the small button switches ?

Yes, so you need a fine tip soldering iron (and a steady hand!) The switches move around as you're soldering so make sure the switch is square onto the four pads before soldering. Get one done first then the other three are easier!
