Luminoodle Bias Lighting, Backlight Kit for Monitors up to 23" - USB LED Light Strip - Computer Monitor Backlight - True White Adhesive Strip - White - Small (<23" TV)

Item functions as promised. This is my first attempt at bias lighting in the hopes that it'd reduce the eye strain from my monitor. I don't know how effective it'll be yet, but the light strip works well as advertised.

So does the basics, although the picture for the smaller one is a bit misleading, the one that I got didn't have the specific grooves cut into the strip which is half the reason I bought it. Regardless, for a 2 stripe LED light, it's surprisingly bright and cost efficient. Better because it's one of the rare legit ones on Amazon which works via USB so you don't need another power brick / adaptor to charge it. After using it briefly, removed / turning off the USB as an on / off works quite well. Would work for a TV also I imagine, but be warned and measure up correctly, you'll need more than you realise!

I used to watch TV in the dark because having a light on in front of the TV was distracting and annoying. However I read about these backlights and their benefits so tried putting a lamp behind the TV. I liked having a light on that was behind the TV so purchased this as it was cheap enough. I'm happy with the purchase. It was easy to install and it powers up with the TV via the TVs USB port. I also bought a splitter to power these and still be able to plug a flash drive into the TV and the set up works great. This covers three sides on the back of our 24 inch TV with ease. I can't say I notice a change in contrast or picture quality improving but I can say I now prefer watching TV with these lights on so maybe it's more of a subliminal thing?

I’d stumbled across these by accident when searching for some strip lighting for my nieces Ikea kitchen. I house sat for a neighbour and couldn’t believe the picture quality of her tv. I thought it was a 4K tv or even 3D but it was neither, then realised it was because it was backlit. I saw the reviews on here and gave them a go. So glad I did!! The picture quality of my tv has improved so much with these lights. The contrast is amazing! . I sadly watch a lot of tv because I spend a lot of time in bed due to a chronic illness, so I’m always concerned of headaches and eye strain. I’ve now bought another set of lights for my other tv!

I specifically bought this item because I thought it'd be easier to bend around corners, but it's a solid strip that doesn't bend very easily. I am now using it for a different purpose, so it's not a complete waste - but I did have to buy something else as well. Adhesion is so-so, but I always expect to use my own double sided tape with things like this. Brightness is fine, and the ability to dim is nice. It doesn't remember the previous brightness setting. This doesn't bother me, but it's not as advertised.

Hoped this would improve my home-working setup, but causes interference with my wireless headset making my voice distorted & robotic-sounding on Zoom/Teams calls. Took a while to figure out this was causing the problem, so missed returns window. Also doesn't work well with the power-saving features of any monitor I tried, so light stays on when monitor goes to sleep. Otherwise, the light output is good with no flickering, the bias lighting does make screen use more comfortable and the adhesive is strong enough to re-stick multiple times. Overall seems good quality, just not useful for me.

I didn't want anything too bright, so I went for the 1m to use on a 65" TV. I placed the strip roughly in the middle of the TV, which sits on a stand about 15" from a white wall and the amount of light it gives is perfect for me, I certainly wouldn't want it any brighter. It's great for watching in an otherwise dark room, without adding any reflections to the screen.

They work fine, but please be aware of 3x things:- 1) They are NOT very bright 2) They are not long, so check your screen width etc 3) There is NO OFF BUTTON Fortunately, I had just bought a 7-way USB 3 Hub from Amazon - and each port has an on/off button

Ho installato questa striscia led dietro al monitor del pc per rilassare gli occhi e il beneficio l'ho notato immediatamente. Tuttavia l'alimentazione USB del pc non garantisce sempre una luminosità stabile e sarebbe necessario collegarlo ad una alimentazione dedicata. Sicuramente da evitare il collegamento ad un HUB USB in quanto si rischia un fastidioso sfarfallio.

good but shorter than i thought

Ich habe meinen alten 40‘‘-LED-TV ausgetauscht, auf dessen Rückseite ich ein LED-Band als Backlight angebracht hatte, das eine Länge von 2mal 50 cm hat. Für meinen neuen 43''-TV habe ich mich nach längerer Recherche für das „Luminoodle White - Small (<24" TV)“ entschieden, die elektrische Anschlussleisung wird mit 5 Watt (5Volt, 1 Ampere) angegeben. Hauptgrund für meine Entscheidung war der faire Preis von 11,99 EUR, alle anderen Produkte des gleichen Herstellers sind deutlich teurer. Laut Produktbeschreibung 3m lang, nur weißes Licht und keine Fernbedienung, das war für mich okay. Das Produkt war pünktlich da. Beim Öffnen die Überraschung: Der Hersteller empfiehlt das Band für 32'' bis 40''. Es gibt aber einen Aufkleber des Verkäufers, der das Produkt nur für Monitore bis zu 24‘‘ausweist. Darüberhinaus war entgegen der Produktbeschreibung eine Fernbedienung vorhanden und ein Test an einem USB-Ladegerät zeigte, dass der Streifen auch farbige LEDs enthält. Der Klebestreifen zum Befestigen an der 43‘‘-TV-Rückwand hält sehr gut, die Länge des Bandes reicht für 2 horizentale und 2 vertikale Leuchtstreifen. Die entstehende Helligkeit ist regelbar und völlig ausreichend (das Maximum habe ich noch nicht getestet). Dank der Fernbedienung kann man die Lichtfarbe nach Wunsch einstellen. Der LED-Strip kann mehr als versprochen! Empfehlung: den LED-Strip nur an USB-Anschlüssen betreiben, die die elektrische Leistung (5 V, 1 A) auch erbringen. Meine Buchsen am TV sind entsprechend beschriftet, wer an seinem USB-Anschluss zweifelt, sollte lieber ein externes USB-Netzteil verwenden und das Band per Fernbedienung ein- und ausschalten. Die eigentlich verdienten 5 Punkte mindert der Verkäufer, weil er potentielle Kunden auf seine teureren Produkte umsteuert, indem er das Leuchtband nur für Monitore bis 24 Zoll ausweist.

I use the luminoodle bias lighting on my 24" monitors and they do an amazing job. The product didn't feel cheap, all LEDs were of the same brightness and they were very bright with the correct colour temperature. I would highly recommend the product.
