Very good item does what it needs to do

First time I've bought a jump starter as a precaution several months ago and used it recently. There are a couple of major issues that should be noted:- First issue is fairly major, the attached red and black wires are very short and I'm unable to connect the black to the specified (in my service manual) ground bolt and connect red to battery at the same time. Probably about 30cm for each wire and including the box maybe about 90cm-1M, so if your car is wider than 1M then the wires might be abit short. I had to stretch the wires, balancing it and it fell into the open bonnet when engine did start which was dangerous. Second issue is that the charge indicator at the front is fairly useless. I had fully charged the unit when I first got it, and when I tried to jump start the car at ~150% charge it did not work. Charged for over 90 mins and car would not start (by the this the jump starter was on 50%). I recharged the jump starter to 200% and then the car started no problem so the jump starter indicator is fairly unintuitive (it says everything green is okay, so from 100%+) So one major and one minor issue but at the price point is probably okay.

I must have been sent a defective unit. It will not hold its charge for 24hrs. I did not discover this until it was too late to send it back. It is of no use to me and a total waste of money.

Product is very good and does the job as is described, however i found the instruction manual to be a touch mis leading. It says to connect red to red on battery and black to an earth point on engine, not to black terminal on battery. This was tried with various earth points and did not work? Watched a video online about product and they connected directly to battery terminals, we tried this and it worked fine. Whether this is dependent on age of car mine is an 07 I'm not sure but i feel this needs to be addressed in the manual. As some may think its faulty if follow manual as it is. Otherwise pleased with product.

I purchased this item as a present for a friend who has moved over seas, He phoned to tell me the presher guage dosent work.

A brilliant piece of kit to keep in the boot. Get rid of your jump leads. This is the way forward.

pour recharger une batterie de voiture. Correspond a la description sauf que la prise du chargeur(broches carrées) ne rentres pas dans une prise française!!!il a fallu limer celles ci pour utiliser le chargeur
