Ghost Shampoo & Conditioner Duo Set

I’ve been using Verb Ghost Shampoo and Conditioner for a while now, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. This shampoo and conditioner is amazing. I used it for the first time and my fine hair feels like silk. My hair is normally very frizzy and it really helped with that. Smells great too.

Alright, stay with me. I’m 5’7 with an average-length torso, and my hair is down to my waist. Box dyed for 16 years. Fine, thin. Wash daily. Okay. I’m also a cheapskate with everything but hair products. I used to be a Moroccanoil fan, but after a house fire that destroyed two brand new bottles that cost me $180, I couldn’t bring myself to spend more than $20 since then. Until now. I don’t know who recommended Ghost to me, but I ignored them for a while. My hair started to feel unhealthy so I said screw it, I’m worth it. I went for the big bottles and I was so excited. Day 1: After styling my hair like normal, my hair was SO DRY. It felt like straw. Like worse than it has in years. Like a Dementor said he was tired of happiness and sucked all the moisture out of my hair instead. Day 2: Same thing. It was terrible. I wept over the waste of $80 and almost gave up, but I told myself to trust the process. Just one more day. Day 3: Miracles. When I tell you that after two days of this stuff seemingly ruining my hair, it was reborn again like Jesus himself. I’m on week 3 now and I’ve never loved my hair more. It’s so soft that my husband literally cannot keep his hands off of it. It’s shiny, healthy, isn’t falling out, and it’s so much easier to style. Trust the process indeed. The only reason I deducted a half a star is because the scent is terrible. The shampoo smells awful, the conditioner is only slightly better. It’s faint enough that the other products I use post-shower cover it up, but for such a phenomenal product, I can’t believe it doesn’t at least smell… like something better than whatever it is. Anyway; try it. And if it sucks for the first couple of days, stick with it. It’s worth it.

Used this for my daughter who has long thin hair. Unlike other shampoos Verb is gentle and doesnt leave her hair dry and frizzy. She uses the conditioner once a week, wow what difference! It has left her hair nice and soft after a month. The smell is a lot to be desired, but does its job with good results.

The shampoo doesn’t lather to well . But the conditioner is my fav . Works really well.

As someone with fine hair that tends to frizz (but only in the back — like maybe my mom dropped me on my head when I was a baby or something?), I have a difficult time finding shampoo and conditioner to fit my needs. Add menopause to the equation (drying hair that started breaking and falling out), and I was just going to give up. I’ve used Verb’s Ghost Oil in the past, and it never weighed down my hair, so I thought, “Huh. Might as well give their shampoo and conditioner a try. It’s on sale, and I have nothing to lose — except maybe more hair.” Friends, I’m not a believer in miracles or anything, but this Verb duo changed my hair life. You can ask my hairdresser. The first day my hair was noticeably softer. Within a week my hair was consistently less frizzy. Within four months my hairdresser and I noticed my hair had more moisture and had stopped breaking. It’s been seven months, and I have much thicker hair. I’m not saying Verb grew my hair. I’m saying that it probably added much-needed moisture — without weighing down my very fine hair. The scent isn’t anything that’s going to make your partner go, “Gee! Your hair smells terrific!” But it’s light and not going to interfere with your lotion or perfume. For me, it’s all about the results. I’m happier and more confident with my thicker and softer hair, and I love that Amazon tends to put the Verb duo on sale. Give it a try!

Wasn't really sure how to rate this however, the positive is first the scent is mild and slightly citrus which leaves a lovely perfume. The shampoo does seem to clean really well leaving the scalp feeling refreshed and cleansed. While it doesn't weigh the hair down, neither the shampoo nor conditioner moisturize really well. Very light conditioning though and highly suggest pairing with a good leave-in conditioner and adding the VERB Ghost Oil after air drying for a bit. The best result though is how clean the scalp and hair feel. Completely safe for extensions and seems to work well on color-treated hair as well.

Favorite new shampoo. Have been using for the last year and since using this product, I have to wash my hair less frequently before it gets oily. It is nice and light. It also has a pleasant but light scent.

This shampoo and conditioner is seriously a game-changer for my hair! It's so lightweight, which is perfect for my fine strands. My hair feels incredibly soft and manageable after using it. I love how it doesn't weigh my hair down at all. Definitely my new go-to for healthy-looking hair.

So far the shampoo and conditioner is really good! Used twice. My hair type is wavy, long, dry and sensitive scalp. My hair feels good and my scalp is better too!

It’s just ok. Smells nice, but gives hair a very strange texture once it’s dry. Doesn’t do much for volume, just makes the ends of my hair super light - I have to counteract the “lightness” with a heavy duty conditioner or hair mask (just on the ends) to prevent them from just flying everywhere. Just a very strange shampoo and conditioner experience. I’ll try to finish it off, but unfortunately won’t be buying it again.
