Super Sculpey Polymer clay, Gray, 15.08 x 7.62 x 3.97 cm

Used Sculpey clay for years and tried both the soft and hard but I'm a convert to the medium. It's really easy to use and just the right balance between the other two. Can be carved, filed and sanded after baking to help with shaping and smoothing.

As someone who has always preferred Sculpey Firm over the original - mainly for very fine detailing - I did like the softness of the original for blending larger areas of clay, and I would sometimes mix the two together for certain bits. Now, with Sculpey Grey, you get just the right consistency and the best of both worlds. Its workable pretty much out the pack, with maybe a bit of kneading for larger pieces, but detailing is just as good as the firm. The opaque grey colour is the same, so seeing fine detail is easier than the translucent original. I'll be using this from now on.

Its the best clay for beginners

The two packets of sculpey clay I received were old and rock hard and just crumbled in my hands, was not able to sculpt properly with it at all, obviously very old clay

I have found that I use sculpey for everything I make now it's so easy to use,you can paint it before for put it in the oven or after,it can go in the oven multiple times so you dont have to do your work to thick,and it has a great finish to it,doesn't brake easy like some other Clay's

I find this clay really easy to use. The quality of it is really good, I would definitely recommend this item.

Just getting into polymer sculpting so this was a good clay to begin with. My only complaint is that it is brittle after baking, supported sections will be fine but details are very breakable. Going to try Fimo clay next.

Great stuff, so I want to buy more. First I bought it for 16 euro, now it’s 19euros. Looking for an alternative - unfortunately

Me encanta, realmente es uno de los materiales de modelado más versátiles con el que se puede trabajar, no se echa a perder con el aire a menos que te esfuerces por aplicarle calor, por lo que a temperatura ambiente mantiene su flexibilidad y maleabilidad, con ello puedes seguir trabajando incluso por días en una pieza de arte. Realmente lo recomiendo mucho.

This is a wonderful clay for sculpturing. you just need to make it softener before using it , thats it .

Cette pâte est assez épaisse et la travailler n'est pas instinctif, mais avec un peu de patience, une fois la technique maîtrisée, c'est la meilleure je trouve. Elle se tient parfaitement et après chauffe elle est assez souple pour accuser les chocs sans casser, mais assez solide pour résister aux coups etc donc je valide +++
