This K5 Pro is fantastic you don't need thermal pads, infact K5 Pro is a'll you need.I had to text the compound its like gummy textured you only need to apply once just put a bit on any chip (Apart from a cpu or gpu instead use grizzly kryonaught) and your done.Not only did i fully do my laptop i done my desktop also i even opened up my Dolby atoms AV player and applied it to every chip i could see as it will make the component s less likely to fail and what you want to know does it work? YES, it works fantastically i did a test with a 8 inch nail with a blue flame holding the end off the nail applied the flame to the point it took 15 seconds for the heat to travel to my fingers.I then put a bit off K5 Pro to the middle off the nail just a small amount i mean small then repeated the experiment! It took 1 minute 24 seconds to the heat to reach my fingers which was warm and 1 minute 32 seconds before it because hot.So you can imagine the compound removing heat to any microchip it has many uses i again am impressed with this gummy compound it does not dry an its quite easy to remove it with a bit 100 percent alcohol.It does the same job whether you apply a blob or big blob.Great stuff. Very good product. I had issues with my Alienware 15 r4's heatsink. Heatsink never seated properly on the CPU die. Tried multiple replacement heatsinks but CPU throttling persisted. Finally tried K5 pro. Replaced all thermal pads with this. Now heatsink is properly seated and CPU in no more throttling. Temps are also much better than earlier. Used GELID GC-extreme as TIM between CPU and heatsink base.

This product is amazing but levels your expectations, also add a pipping bag to your order. (You can thank me later for that tip)Much cheaper than "quality" thermal pads, easy to apply, and performs great. Works best if you are replacing few-year-old thermal pads, you might be disappointed if you think this will improve temps on your 3090, etc...ps. Don't be silly like some other people and don't put that directly on the GPU or CPU...

seems to be doing the trick in my asus gaming laptop with i78750H which hits 100c pair this with throttlesrop and you can game again. Do not use this on cpu, use only on transistors etc.

Great value, much better than thermal pads in my opinion, no need to guess the thickness of pads now, I just glooped this stuff on and was good to go, I probably put a bit too much on but it won't hurt, I used this on my Asus Scar 2 VRMS and then I used liquid metal thermal paste on my cpu and gpu, I've knocked a good 10c off my laptops temps. Seller also fantastic, responded promptly to any questions I had.

Didn't work on a 3070ti!Memory temperatures are significantly higher an it started to BOILBuy normal thermal pads instead!

I chose this paste because I figured since there is hot climate in Greece they must be experts on cooling - Yes they areReally works as expected. I was afraid about this stuff, but it is more malleable than I thought and it works 100%. It should come in a better pack for make easier to apply. But so far so good, i can't complain i tried the pads but didn'twork. Nitro AN515-55
