Q: Are the sleeves large enough to hold cd art work?

Hi, yes the sleeves are large enough to hold an album booklet from a CD case. Booklets with more pages than usual will be a tight fit. Also, the sleeves can fit two CDs.

Q: Is the 400 disc case difficult to open and close if fully filled?

I haven't filled it completely but it's fine at at about 80% full.

Q: Do the sleeves hold the paper work of the cd

They hold a standard cd booklet no problem but if you are putting the cd and booklet into the same plastic pocket, it can make it a bit snug and difficult to get the cd in and out of the pocket. If you are using one pocket for cd sleeve and the pocket next to it for the cd, you'll have no issues.

Q: When full and closed (or nearly full) are the discs pushed against each other such that they could bend or break, as is a problem with other products?

I doubt the CD’s would get damaged. However, we just bought one and it is a tight fit when closed. We did try and put the CD covers in as well but had to abandon that idea. We also bought some different 80 CD storage cases and have concluded, with all of them, it is better to load the cases to about 80% capacity and leave some sleeves empty. Therefore we ordered another 80 CD case. When full, the 400 CD binder is very heavy to lift.
