I bought a new Adventure Sonic 50 CC scooter this summer. Taking it easy the first couple hundred miles to break in but after 200 miles I couldn't get more than 25 MPH out of it. It's a full size scooter weight limit of 330 lbs, well I weigh 240 so I had my son who weighs 165lbs try it. He could only get 25 MPH even down hill. After purchasing the H.P. CDI box and H.P. Ignition Coil, very easy to install i might add, I was hitting 35 - 38 on flat road picked up speed going down hill. To make a long story short. I'm very happy with my purchase. I can hit 42-43 MPH. I bought the high performance carburetor along with it but didn't put it on, was happy with just the CDI and ignition coil. Buy it you won't be sorry.

Very light weight (mostly made of plastic)
For the money this product works very well. I installed it and my scooter started. That's what I was looking for.

Wont work for 2013 Kymco agility 50 4T (the control box specifically)
All the other parts worked great including the spark plug but its the control box. The scooter tries to start but then blows the main fuse. After changing it I have 2 more blow fuses trying to verify. There must be an internal short. I would not mind sending the other one back to get a replacement.

Can't say anything bad
Bought as a replacement for a different brand.. fitment was correct. Did not make a noticeable gain but can not tell that I lost anything either.. i would buy again

Cheap and will get the job done
Package arrived fast and everything works and fits good.. dont know if I notice any extra Hp tho

CDI box doesn’t work
CDI box doesn’t work. I swapped out my original CDI with one from my other cart to diagnose mine as being bad. Ordered this because it came with the coil and wire. Cart didn’t start with the new one. Put the one from my other cart on it and it started right up. Also, the spark plug wire is too short for buggy applications

Fixed problematic scooter
Scooter suddenly one day stopped working, was able to get it to start but was bogging on full throttle. After a while the scooter would not start. Replacing these items in the scooter fixed the problem altogether. Super happy.
