Another Christmas present for a 3 year old and he loves, loves it. As does his 8 month old brotherThey love the walking, the dancing, the shooting.... each and every thing.It is LOUD but the kids don't seem to mind it so have set times it can be turned on or I will go crazy!It does what it says on the box, and my 3 year old likes repeating what is says and has been acting like a robot for a while now.Suprisingly, the batteries have lasted. Last put in on 1st February (when he got the present as we'd been away over Christmas) and still running on the same set a month later!As he doesn't like loud noise, it's not on most of the time so this may be why the batteries have lasted but nevertheless, I am impressed.I recommend this to anyone with kids who love robots and while the box says 6+ years, my three year old has mastered all of it and is past the age of trying to eat everything so it worked out well!

Oh my goodness I'm the best mummy ever now I've bought this for my son's 5th birthday. He loves it. By far the most popular present he received and he loves shooting the soft foam frisbees at his sisters. His 2 year old sister can also operate the remote control as it's very easy to understand. My only concerns are the lid to the frisbee storage in the head is a bit flimsy and I can see it being broken off before too long although it has stood up to being picked up by the lid so far so I might be wrong. This is a very loud toy and I've looked very hard but there isn't a volume control!

Bought for a five year old boy, this certainly grabbed his attention on Christmas day, and had him dancing with it! It's a bit fragile, and as others have said it is too loud, and rather distorted; but very impressive in it's repertoire for the price. - It would be so much better, and probably clearer in sound, if the level could be turned down. One way to quieten it might be to put masking tape or similar over the small grill on his head where the sound comes out - though I didn't get to try this owing to objections from it's new owner!

Faulty remote did not work. Contacted the company who offered to pay for postage back and would test the robot! If found not faulty I would of have to pay to get the robot back!Typically they said the item was not faulty! (We used two sets of batteries and couldn't get it to work) and offered us a partial refund or pay over the odds in postage to get the robot. After a few cross emails they offered to send the robot back free of charge -great! But robot they sent did not work and also it was not the right one? Ours had dinosaurs lighting up at the front and this robot had space ships! Packaging was dreadful -battered box that been taped up. One disappointed little boy who so wanted this robot to work xIf you want this item beware of rubbish customer service and buy from a shop or another company with good customer service

My son loves this robot. It is ridiculously loud though and has no volume controls. Within 30mins of my son getting it, my husband had used bathroom silicone to block the speakers. It was either that, or throw the thing out the window.

Bought this for my 4 and a half year old son for Christmas he loves robots and he adores this one, it's perfect for him to play around with and operate, the disc shooting facility is a great addition and he loves trying to catch the discs, the foam discs come out pretty fast but they wont hurt even if they hit you in the face as they are so soft! a option to turn the volume off would be great though haha

My little girl asked for a robot for her birthday. Granny decided she would get one (Which involves me sourcing it, ordering it and wrapping it!) I found this. My girl was due to be 5 and this was ideal as it doesn't need programing and isnt so expensive that you'd be devastated if they get bored with it or it got broken. The cats "love" the foam frisbees being fired around the living room and 5 months on, this birthday present has outlived many of the others which have been left in the bottom of the toybox. The only thing which I don't like is how LOUD it is! It really is too much early in the morning or all afternoon, but if you're buying for a child whose parents you dont particuarly like or someone you don't visit too often (so wont have to hear it every day) go for it!

This robot was purchased as a last minute christmas present for my 3 year old. I ordered it on Sunday 21st December and it arrived the following day. Service was excellent. The toy was well packaged so none of the problems experienced by earlier reviews. My little boy loves it. It walks, talks, dances and fires foam discs which I did worry about as I have a 16 month old as well but the discs are soft even when fired. Overall a great present and a bargain compared with similar priced toys
