It is hard to photograph, but I love the effect of the StarShower on our home & trees. I already had 2 of these for the side that faces the road, but I ordered 2 more so that I could luminate the towering pine trees that also face the road (sorry; no pics of those; it didn't show up well in pics). I use the steady lights on the house (2 Star Showers) & the moving lights on the pine trees (2 Star Showers). The trees just glitter with light & it looks like fireflies are dancing in the trees. Magical. Easy to put up & take down. I live in Montana where the winters are cold; make sure you have something to drill a hole into your frozen ground to stake out the Star Shower (I drove a hole first with rebar & a mallet). Our house is pretty far off the road, but you can still see the Star Shower lights from the road.

I got my two packs of Star Shower Ultra 9, the boxes were very well packed. You get the projector, a stake and the instructions ( you need an extension cord is not included). I tried it on a dark room, it’s a little early to put up the Christmas decorations, I wanted to see how they work , I was mesmerized by the beauty of the light show!!! I like the convenience that it will automatically turn on in the dark and off when there’s light. Overall is a great alternative to hanging Christmas lights, I can not tell you how many boxes of tangled Christmas lights I have, that I will now discard because I don’t need them anymore… start getting ready for Christmas… I know I am… I recommend this product…

These give a moving light show that is full all the time. Overall a good holiday light show.This laser light unit uses a motor driven wheel inside to move the pattern around, you can hear it a bit while it's on. One of the units has a glitch in it that causes the movement to be jerky. I have two others that are smooth. You need several of these to do a house, we have two on the front and one on the side, we could use another one on the side.These two do not come with a remote, so they are less expensive. I was hoping they would respond to my remote I have for one of them, but they do not. All remote function must have been removed to save cost.Good cheap fun.

I gave it 3 stars because although the lights look great the dusk to dawn sensor doesn’t work at all. Stays on all day, sunny day. I put a flashlight right up to it and it still doesn’t turn off. Doesn’t work well with timers either. Currently I’m trying different type of timers to see if it might work right with one.

I was looking for an alternative to hanging the Christmas lights the year. I don’t like heights and, just in general, it’s a huge pain. I gave these a test run last night and it’s going to work perfectly. My main takeaways:1. The lights are bright and vivid. Even from 20+ feet away.2. Saved time! It literally took me 15 minutes to install. Most of which was finding the angle I like the best and driving the stake into the ground. Very intuitive design/directions not really needed.3. There are like 8 different patterns you can choose from. A few of them are really cool!4. You can adjust the angle without removing the stake from the ground. Makes it really easy to change things up/adjust.5. They automatically turn on in the dark. No need to turn them on and off.6. They are rated for as low as -30 degrees! We live in Illinois and we get close to that sometimes. It’s nice to know they will still work.Overall, really happy with this purchase. Decorating is going to be a breeze this year.

So I purchased these Christmas 2022 and of course they’re used only during the Christmas season.This year I have had nothing but problems with both of my star shower units not going on, not staying on, and now one of them is completely dead. So if you’re buying them for one or two seasons fine but it’s not a decoration you’re going to take out and use for years to comeFor the price, they should last longer when they are not used for more than a few weeks a year.Oh, and a follow up... my second start shower died dec 2024 too. These were so disappointing!!!!

I purchased these for my father who loves to decorate outside for Christmas, but now has rheumatoid arthritis and in a wheelchair. These lights are so easy to put out they have a stake you just put into the ground . There are adjustable it makes your house look like you spent hours hanging lights. He was so happy and I love them so much that my fiancé had me order them for us. Also, then my brother wanted them too great quality still holding up years later out in the upstate New York winter
