Good price, but know what you're buying
This is a revised review. These bits are undersized, and your plywood might not be.I used the 23/32 bit to cut dadoes in some "cabinet grade" plywood I purchased from Home Depot. The plywood was labeled as 23/32", but it was actually 1/64" larger than that. That 1/64" was enough to make the fit too tight, requiring a second setup (1/64" over from the first) and second pass on each dado. So, make sure and measure your plywood with a caliper before assuming it's actually 23/32" as labeled. Also, the bit that's meant to fit 1/4" plywood is shown as 13/64", and they represent that 13/64" is standard for 1/4" plywood. Actually, 1/4" plywood is 7/32, which is 1/64" larger than the bit provided. FYI, the identical set of Freud bits doesn't sell a 13/64". They sell a 7/32" bit labeled as '1/4" plywood'. Again, it's probably a good idea to caliper your plywood and your bit before you start.I put 4* because for the price, this is still a very good deal. The bits cut well and have minimal tearout, and seem to be well constructed. The bits being undersized means you have no margin for error on the thickness of your plywood. So check your materials carefully.

Sharp and clean cuts
I was unsure of quality/steel because of price. Worked great and maintained sharpness through heavy use on oak.

Good bits. Good company. Good value.
I cannot speak to longevity, having had these only long enough to test them, but my tests showed them to be very accurate, cutting precise undersize dados for use in plywood. I also check concentricity with a dial test gage. All of these bits run true. I have also had personal communications with this company, resolving problems with a bit over a year ago. They run a good company and they stand behind their products. I would encourage anyone to buy these bits.

Precision router bit set at a good price
These bits are accurate and cut cleanly. As some have observed, they are a bit hard to get out of the plastic insert they come in; this seems to be caused by the machining oil gumming up on the bit shaft. Turn them first to break this loose and they come right out. I have used many Yonico bits and have learned to expect this. It's better than getting a damaged bit because it flew around loose in shipping. These bits are a good value and perform excellently.

Bought the Wrong Size
These are clearly marked 1/2 inch shank, but I needed 1/4 inch shank. Portable routers often use 1/4 inch shanks. That was my fault for messing it up.They come in their own wooden box. They fit tightly in the holes, but I'm worried about cutting myself when adding or removing them.

Great beginners, excellent on experienced hands.
I'm not a big time woodworker, but very enthusiast about it; after seeing the dado style I did try it.I watch video after video about "perfect dados jigs" and many other following the mentioned topic, but I didnt require such thing [simple is better].After reading and studying some serious reviews about Yonico Dado Bits, I'm sold.Right after receiving the pkg I notice an excellent pkg, very very solid and protective [towards the bit/mine remains razor sharp].so like any other kid on christmas I decided to take on a project: a bookcase.WOW, definitely simple is better, just clamping the guide and make a pass I was done.Three times faster than previous form I used [pocket holes], no to mention the looks after finishing. However I do notice;a) is better/safer use these on a variable speed routerb) like any other bit don't force it "across the grain" I test it and it kind "of burn" the bit.c) very sturdy and strong: very happy with the construction, does have a solid feels.d) a small gap between dado/shelf does occur, but it IMHO, nothing that could compromise the finished product.Bottom lineI definitely will get some more Yonico Bits and recommend these to others.

2 bits are not accurate
23/32" bit's (for 3/4" plywood) exact size is 21/32," it is too tied for my 2 type of plywood (2 brand names, one is finished veneer one is not).31/64" bit's (for 1/2" plywood) exact size is 55/128," it is too loose for my 2 type of plywoods (2 brand names, both unfinished).13/64" bit is ok for my 3 type plywoods.

Not the 1/2 1/4 3/4 bits
This is odd I received a 3/4 shank bits with really odd measurements. I have a small router so these dont fit the collet I have, I am bumped since I was looking forward to use these.

Good price for the set and the quality seems great
Tested the bit for 3/4 plywood and the dado fit perfectly snug. I am sure the 1/2" and 1/4" will be the same. Good price for the set and the quality seems great.

Yellow saves a lot of "Green"
Do decent cuts in stated size. I find yonico a decent value for the price. I use freud as well, but haven't used this set enough to talk about longevity. Pleased so far

They're good but they're not a snug fit.
It's just a difference in ply sizes between the US and UK but my cuts are coming up about 0.25mm too wide. It's not so much of a difference that they're not usable but I would still want to clamp any joints square during a glue up.UK ply is ~18mmUS ply is ~18.25mmThe bits feel really sturdy though and the box they come in is really nice. Ironically, the holes that the bits slot into in the box might actually be a tad too tight...I'd advise caution taking them out as they're a bit tricky and close enough to each other to risk slicing you fingers as you take them out.
