YONICO Router Bits Set Dado Straight Bit Undersize Plywood 3 Bit 1/2-Inch Shank 14323

One of my favorite router bit sets!!!! I bought these as a recommended product from a youtube video to make cabinets. They are awesome!!! They give a snug fit for the plywood bottom - I have been using to make cabinets and little boxes. Pocket holes are fine for cabinet making, but these help make sturdy cabinets more like the traditional way - I used them to put a dado in the cabinet side for the bottom to slip in as well as the back of the cabinet. They are amazing. Only wish I would have had them sooner!

I love these bits and from my experience with them, I bought more from them! Definitely the best "yellow" router buts out there. I built this large bookcase using nothing but dados and glue and it is so solid! Tight fitting and after the project, bit is still as sharp as ever. I believe the pictures speak for themselves. The only visible gaps are from my mistakes. Highly recommend!

I finally got to use the one for undersized 3/4" Plywood, the dado was a perfect fit.

The bits cut very smooth and the slot worked for the 1/2 plywood that I was using. However, I was not able to use the 1/4" bit in my router table because the entire body of the bit was too long. I only wanted to cut about a 5/16 " deep slot for making drawer bottoms. I was not able to lower the router enough. The cutting portion of the bit was still about a 1/2" above the table surface. A shorter router bit body would allow for the cutting portion to be lower. I use a 15 amp Trident plunge router on my table. Other routers may have more travel which might not cause the same issue

Great set for undersized plywood. Did some test cuts on 23/32 plywood scrap and the dado fit nice and snug. So far the bits appear to be sharp and of good quality. The three bits come labeled in a small wooden storage box. For the price and my occasional hobby woodworking I think I scored a good set.

This is odd I received a 3/4 shank bits with really odd measurements. I have a small router so these dont fit the collet I have, I am bumped since I was looking forward to use these.

These were my first router bits for my first router. With no experience whatsoever, I wanted to make some shop cabinets with some scraps of cheap,sheathing grade plywood I had laying around. The bits made perfect dados that were the exact size of my plywood. A bit of tear out on the exit but I expected that with such crap wood and no experience. My first project was a holder for my orbit sander and paper discs. I was very happy with the results.

It's just a difference in ply sizes between the US and UK but my cuts are coming up about 0.25mm too wide. It's not so much of a difference that they're not usable but I would still want to clamp any joints square during a glue up. UK ply is ~18mm US ply is ~18.25mm The bits feel really sturdy though and the box they come in is really nice. Ironically, the holes that the bits slot into in the box might actually be a tad too tight...I'd advise caution taking them out as they're a bit tricky and close enough to each other to risk slicing you fingers as you take them out.
