Had some issues but I think it's okI tried cutting some paper but it kept tearing the web suggested that the blade was no good so I order this one and try and this one was worseHmmmmmHowever I tried to cut some card and it came away from the Matt and slipped so I think it was probably the Matt (I have 4 new ones but no one wants to use a brand new matt on 80gsm paper with a super intricate cut)I redid the card and it came out perfectly when I changed the matt yey

Having sadly completely destroyed my 1st blade through misuse - I'd somehow ended up using it on a cut setting of 8-9 to cut 220 gsm card = it was such a complete joy to get a good quality replacement blade & then discover that I could cut the same material on a setting of 3 maximum & sometimes even on a 2 if I double cut.I find this to be a superb blade which has certainly worked well for me, & I'm intending on getting another as a spare given the equally excellent price.

As long as you treat your blades right they will last the course. Always set the blade speed/depth settings appropriately. Do not cut deeper than necessary this will wear your blade quickly. Always allow for blades to do the work in good time never hurry a job as you will also get poor cuts.Finally if you cutting intricate items or glitter stock always pause and clean your blade at appropriate intervals. This can prevent slipping too. The blade housing come undone to assist with this. Lesser known fact.

Price has almost doubled since the last time I bought a replacement blade and didn't come with the adjustment tool as stated, not helpful if you have thrown away or lost the tool for older machines luckily I have one from a previous blade, so will make sure I keep it. Package is also almost impossible to get into unlike the previous packaging that was clamshell style.

Everything works

I bought a brand new cameo 4 which struggled to cut even the thinnest of vinyl. This blade was recommended by many in a silhouette group and I have to say it’s absolutely fantastic. I can now cut through anything with ease.

Appears to be a genuine Silhouette product, I purchased this as a extra but to be honest, I haven't used it yet as the original one that came with the cutter is still sharp enough for use which actually says more about the blade quality, the fact I haven't needed to fit this one yet and I'm cutting 10 thou styrene sheet, which is a pretty thick material for this cutter.
