This is very easy to set up and the instruction manual is (not always like this for some other items) very clear. It was easy to set up motion capture photographs and delay times. I was greatly anticipating to see night-time pictures of the many expected wild beasts in my garden and woodland area. The camera worked absolutely fine, and over a few nights and locations it became clear that we don't have anything very exciting in our area. Picked up images on the camera back-screen - but it was very easy to link the camera to PC via the supplied USB. The images were very clear and could be manipulated/enlarged with ease. The sum total of 4 nights camera set up: 2 rabbits and a muntjac deer, which stayed in the target area for about 30 mins. How boring - where were the badgers, foxes, hedgehogs? - anything, even our cat would have been exciting to watch. Will change location a few times - we have a well-worn track in a field near home and we are hoping this is a fox route. We'll soon find out. Very good piece of kit and the night time pictures are very clear. Easy to download to PC and store images for later viewing and manipulation.

After the early failure of two different branded trail cameras (from Amazon who immediately refunded me) I looked very carefully at reviews to try and find a camera that was not too expensive, with good night video and long battery life. I finally settled on this model from Crenova, which was not much more expensive than the other brands I had bought. The extra cost looks justified so far. The camera is of good quality construction. I found it easy to set up, thanks to a clear and comprehensive user manual and had it installed in the garden the day the it arrived. Even on the lower resolution default settings the daytime and nighttime videos are both very good. I can watch the video recordings via a 50 inch full 4K screen and the result is very acceptable. The highlight so far is the nighttime video of an owl flying straight at the camera and then sitting on the top, with its tail partially obscuring the picture. So far battery life is noticeably better than on my previous cameras and the manual says I can use rechargeables if necessary. I have only had the camera for a short time but so far I am delighted. If it continues to perform reliably at this level, I shall be very happy.

Originally bought this to monitor a family of great tits that had moved into the birdhouse. The camera took excellent photos and videos (even at the lowest resolutions) of the parents dutifully bringing food to their young, and to predators failing to get to them! Unfortunately, it took no footage at all when they finally fledged, and this was a disappointment. However, this occurred in the afternoon during midsummer, and I later realised that it must have due to the sensors being overloaded but the strong sunlight at the time. I have since repositioned it to a more northerly direction and don't appear to have had further sensor issues. I use 8x2800mAh rechargable batteries, as I have found that the power monitor doesn't interpret the actual battery levels correctly. It will show "2 bars 60%" on the app after about a day or two, regardless of whether there is any footage or not, and anything with an average charge of around 2300mAh or below is regarded as low power, as I found out when I first tried 2000mAh batteries, which I had ensured were fully charged! I have had no issues with the TrailCam Link app, having connected to my phone and tablet (both AndroidOS 15.x at time of writing). Be aware, though, that the wifi range is slightly greater than the bluetooth range, and that even if you are near the edge of the bluetooth range, the wifi interaction will be poor, and liable to drop out if you try to download a video. The only downside I've seen is not with the product itself, but with the listing, as it has several contradictory details (e.g. IP66 or IP54?), which may confuse potential customers. I have since bought a second camera to monitor activity in another part of the garden.

Nicely made item but with heavy battery usage.

Have been using a Bushnell Trophy Cam 2012 since 2013 and, although it's still working, decided to treat myself to a cam with a higher spec. After checking specs and reviews, decided on the Crenova and haven't been disappointed. Video quality, day and night, is good; I have it set at 4K and 720P, respectively. As can be seen from the video clip (04.30 in the morning), the 4K colour operates in fairly low light. I also like the fact the cam accepts a large capacity micro SDXC, I use a 512GB UHS-I U3, which means I can leave the camera operating for days on end. Triggering time is very quick, although I would have liked the minimum interval time between triggerings to have been less than the 5secs available. Over the last few weeks, the waterproofing has been well tested and proved effective, even during a thunderstorm. Because I leave the camera running for long periods, I've run an external 6v power supply to it. Initially I used a 20 metre extension lead but found the camera would not trigger at night. After testing the voltage at the camera, I found it to be 6.6v and presumed the camera was faulty so returned it, replacing it with the same model. However, the new camera performed the same and after some experimentation I found using a shorter extension lead (12 metres) meant the camera operates just fine. I communicated with the seller's customer service department and their responses very quick, polite and helpful. I haven't used the wifi component, so can't comment on that aspect. Overall, this is a compact, easy to set up and use camera, giving great results.

Ha una qualità video ed audio ottima sia di giorno che di notte in relazione all'utilizzo per cui è progettata, angolo di campo e sensibilità dei sensori PIR eccellente (ma non regolabile), e buona illuminazione dei led notturni. Non è però esente da difetti, in primis i led di notte quando scatta la registrazione sono leggerissimamente visibili (aggiornamento: è così per tutte le fototrappole, tranne quelle a led neri che hanno però altri difetti), come se fossero retroilluminati di rosso (ma non emettono luce). In secundis, la durata della batteria è da verificare (Aggiornamento: dura circa 1 settimana con le batterie ricaricabili nimh, ma con le alkaline va decisamente meglio.). Il menù in Italiano è tradotto male. NON E' UNA TELECAMERA DI SORVEGLIANZA. Agguornamento: Ha resistito benissimo a pioggia, fango, nevicate, gelate a -8 ecc... ed è sempre stata pronta a riprendere Volpi, Faina, Tasso e Cinghiali. BENISSIMO. Sotto freddo, (fino a -8), nevicata, tempeste di vento, pioggia e una gelata di altri tempi. Funziona BENE, i PIR sono molto sensibili e scatta subito la ripresa. La qualità video diurna e notturna è più che sufficiente per gli scopi a cui è pensata, ed è difficile trovare fototrappole con qualità migliore se non al quadruplo del prezzo. Anche la qualità audio non è male. Quella fotografica in notturna mostra tutti i limiti del sensore piccolo tipico di queste fotocamere (molto rumore e banding verticale), ma è poco importante in questo tipo di oggetti. Di giorno le riprese e le foto non sono male, anzi! I 42 Led illuminano bene la scena frontalmente, anche se di notte ho notato che quando scatta la registrazione hanno una sorta di leggerissima retroilluminazione rossa. Da verificare se può dare fastidio ad animali molto sensibili, ma non credo, è veramente poco visibile. Aggiornamento: allo scattare della registrazione solo una faina si è fatta disturbare, ma poi è rimasta ed è tornata. L'involucro esterno è ben fatto, rigido e ben sigillato alle intemperie e soprattutto con la sua piastra posteriore, è molto comodo per fissarla in giro. C'è un occhiello per applicarci un lucchetto. Il menu navigabile da un comodo display a colori da 2", è abbastanza semplice e con poche e semplici funzioni tipo cambio modalità, risoluzione video e foto, durata dei video, tempo minimo tra un video o foto e il successivo, disattivazione dei Pir laterali, scelta delle informazioni stampate sui file e poco altro. Non si può modificare la sensibilità dei Pir o altro. Questo significa che quando c'è vento parte qualche registrazione di troppo a vuoto che riempie memoria, ma allo stesso tempo non si perdono quelle importanti. Consiglio di lasciare il menu in inglese, perchè in Italiano è tradotto male. Infine, cose più importanti da sapere su una fototrappola: Il tempo di risposta allo scatto PROVATO SUL CAMPO è di circa 1 secondo e mezzo, non male per questo prezzo. Per cui se lasciate attivi i Pir laterali che inquadrano più del campo dell'obiettivo, la registrazione partirà anche prima del passaggio dell'animale, mentre se usate solo il frontale, perderete un solo secondo o pochissimo di più. Digerisce poco l'uso delle ricaricabili a 1,2v che quando mezze scariche possono creare problemi di voltaggio. E la batteria dura solo 1 settimana. Con le alkaline non ricaricabili le cose vanno molto meglio. Altro piccolo difettuccio, la dimensione dei video (dovuta alla bassa compressione e al codec usato) che va dai 45MB di notte ai 70 di giorno per 20 sec che significa riempire una sd da 16gb con 220 video da 20 secondi circa. Consiglio per questo di usare il 720p che consuma meno memoria, ha più frame rate e che alla fine di notte non mostra differenze sostanziali con il Full HD Simpatico il time stamp sui video che mostra ora data e temperatura. >Pregi:< - Qualità Video diurno e notturno. - Sensibilità e campo coperto dei PIR. - Costo veramente basso. >Difetti:< - Led che quando parte il video in notturna sono leggermente rossicci. - Durata delle batterie (digerisce male le batterie ricaricabili?) - Menu mal tradotto e con qualche funzione mancante. >A chi è indicato:< A tutti gli appassionati di Natura e di animali che vogliono vedere la vita della natura negli ambienti più selvaggi di giorno ma soprattutto di notte. Haben die Kamera im Baumgarten, welcher in den Gartenbereich führt montiert. Grund der Anschaffung ist ein Nachbar, der auch gerne mal einfach so Bäume niederspritzt. Von der Bedienung und Verarbeitung her ist das Gerät TOP. Andere Nachbarn hatten eine teurere Variante bestellt, welche dieser nicht annähernd das Wasser reichen kann.

C'est une excellente caméra. Vous pouvez voir à partir de la vidéo qu'il prend des images claires la nuit, bien que le blaireau semblait savoir qu'il était là. Je pense qu'il pourrait le sentir. J'ai essayé le mode 'photo' et cela est également très bon. J'utilise des batteries rechargeables de haute capacité. Mon seul critisisme est que les batteries, mais elles ne durent pas très longtemps. Après deux ou trois nuits, ils doivent être rechargés. Il est bien construit et jusqu'à présent n'a eu aucun problème.
