Nice replace
Nice warm light, packaged well and delivered on time.

The best GLS LED bulb in my opinion.
Unusually efficient bulb, gives lots of light and it's warm white. By golly, how bulbs have changed since I was young! That's Philips for you!

Not the A+ energy rating as described
Not the A+ energy efficiency as advertised. The bulb that arrived was rated E.

Nice and bright, nice colour, but leaves the ceiling a little dark.
Nice and bright - though I'd still potentially like even brighter :^) One niggle though and what lost it a star.... when hanging down from the ceiling, it doesn't put much light upwards, which negates a little of the effect of the extra brightness, as the ceiling isn't as bright as it could be. It gives the room a slightly dingy feel, even though it's bright downwards. In fact, I was glad I bought 2 ... I put the first in the ceiling fitting as planned... but upon seeing how nice and bright it was down, but how dreary the ceiling looked, and also how dark my desk lamp now looked alongside it, I immediately swapped out the bulb in the desk lamp for the second of these bulbs. Now, with both on together, that puts a nice amount of light up towards the ceiling, albeit only on one side of the room, but it does help. The colour is nice. A lot better colour than the cold white LED that I had in the ceiling before. The cold white may give more light for the same power, but I think that was a mistake - a bit too clinical for relaxing in the evening before heading off to bed - and glad I've replaced it with this bulb. Summary : Nice and bright, but the next one I buy, I'll be first looking to see if there's a version that gives the same (or more) light output, but that also puts more light on the ceiling as well. Given a choice between this 1520lumens with the darkish ceiling, and a 930lumens with a wider beam that puts more upwards, I'd probably still choose this 1520 lumens ... but if there's a 1520 (or better) that also lights the ceiling a little more, I'd go for that.

Beautiful bright light
I love this light its SO BRIGHT! I bought this for my student house because the bulbs were extremely dull energy saving bulbs. I was looking for a bright bulb with a good energy rating and this one has an A+ rating. I needed something bright, especially for winter (SAD) and when I turned this light on it was like the heavens opened. Beautiful. It could be too bright on occasion when trying to relax or when I was tired, but it was great for when I had to study or the day got dark just a bit too soon. Still gives a typical light bulb effect in photos. I've taken it with me for my new house haha! Well worth the money.

The First Low Energy Bulb I Like
I hate the colour of the light from low energy bulbs. I won't have them in the house. They make me feel depressed and sick. I bought these for the loo at work. Wow! They say they are equivalent to 100wt and I can believe it. And the light is bright and white and comfortable to be in. They reach maximum glow very quickly, in fact I don't notice them warming up at all. They are great. Too bright to use at home and in truth I don't need many of this type of bulb at home, but this is the first I've found that I could tolerate.

I don't know about 'warm white'. 'Yellow' would be a better description. Not quite what I wanted for my kitchen. But I can't fault the brightness. If you're looking to replace a 100w incandescent this will do nicely. I'll put it another room and find a whiter bulb.

Excellent quality Philips bulbs
These LED bulbs are very bright and have a pleasant warm tone. At the stated 1,521 lumen, this bulb is actually brighter than the Philips Tornado Compact Fluorescent Spiral Light Bulb (B22 23 W) - Warm White I am replacing which, oddly, is rated brighter at 1,570 lumen! I've also compared, side by side, the old-style 100 W filament type bulbs (I have a stockpile!) and this Philips LED bulb is quite notably brighter. In my opinion, this 13 W LED light bulb is as close to perfect as you can get today, and frankly, it is brighter and superior to it's 100 W incandescent counterpart, but do bear in mind these particular LED bulbs are not the dimmable type.
