Fix & Perfect Makeup Primer, 30ml (Pack of 1)

This is a good primer for everyday use, as it's fairly inexpensive compared to some others while performing just as well as the much more costly primers I've previously used.

I purchased this Rimmel primer for the first time around a month ago and have been using it ever since. I wasn't sure it was going to work for me as I have sensitive skin that drys out easily, but so far I have been very impressed with this product. Having dry skin means I have tended to avoid foundations day to day and only really wear it on a night out, instead using a tinted BB cream for everyday. I have pretty clear skin so don't need heavy coverage but I am very pale so any dark circles/blemishes tend to stand out and during winter months my skin can look very dull so a light foundation is a godsend. As my skin can dry out easily wearing foundation evend with a good moisturiser can leave me looking a little patchy after a few hours especially if out in the elements, so finding this primer has made all the difference. I now apply my moisturiser and leave for a good 10 min's before applying this primer. I then apply either a BB cream for a light and much more dewy finish than I was previously achieving, or L'Oréal True Match foundation for days when I want a little more coverage. I set with a loose translucent powder and get a lovely health looking glow all day. No dry patches in sight and my skin looks a lot brighter. I've had no issues with sensitivity using this product and it feels like silk when you apply it to your face. For the price it's a brilliant essential for any make up bag.

As I have oily skin, I find it quite hard to find a primer that works properly for me. I've had some in the past that I've fallen out of love with but I really do like this one. I've never gone for the Rimmel primers as they're quite cheap and thought that they wouldn't work as well as some around the £10 price mark but I was massively wrong. After doing my normal skin routine, I apply this primer and let it sink in to my skin whilst I finish off styling my hair. I'll then apply my foundation (Estee Lauder Stay In Place) once it's fully set and it works wonderful with my foundation. It feels lovely on my skin, helps the foundation stay in place longer than it would on its own and as I have oily skin, it really does mattify the look. I'm happy using this on its own too when I'm just running out of the house due to how it makes my skin feel.

This is by far the best primer I have used. I have tried: W7 Prime Magic Face Primer Camera Ready Rimmel Stay Matte Primer Revlon PhotoReady Perfecting Primer (around £12) and even the Benefit Porefessional Primer (which is over £20!) I actually prefer it to the Benefit primer! Primer is supposed to make your make-up go on smoothly, providing a dewy and even finish. It's also supposed to make your make-up last all day. This primer leaves my skin luxuriously soft without feeling greasy or heavy. I personally never have problems with my makeup going patchy and it does last a full 16 hour day for me (although I do use good makeup - i.e. Max Factor Face-finity All Day Flawless foundation and Estee Lauder double wear concealer). I am 21 years of age and have normal, healthy skin. How I use the product: I moisturise my face with Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 Anti-ageing moisturiser and wait around 20 seconds before applying a pea-sized amount to my face. I sweep it over the areas that I am going to be applying make-up to (my nose, cheeks, chin and forehead) and wait about 20 seconds before applying my foundation with a foundation brush. This really seems to sink into my skin and provide added moisture, making my skin look dewy and fresh. On days where I have been rushing or daydreaming whilst doing my makeup I have applied my foundation and wondered why my foundation hasn't glided on seamlessly and looks somewhat dull. Then I have realised that I forgot to put this primer on! Primer really does make a difference to your make-up and this one is perfect. It is the right consistency (thick and creamy but not heavy) and has no unpleasant smell and doesn't clog my pores since I rarely ever have spots or blemishes. As previously mentioned, I actually prefer it to the expensive Benefit Porefessional primer which did not leave my skin dewy. I have used this product for years, its perfect for me and I very much doubt I will find a better one :)

It's a good primer can be worn with out without makeup, spreads lovely over your skin, it's not a thick texture, only thing I don't like about this primer it's not good for oily skin.

I used this product a while ago and to be honest I wasn't that impressed with it. At the time I was wearing a full face of make up and struggling with what seemed to be a period of rapid ageing where my skin dried, wrinkled and acquired dark patches of age spots. I needed a miracle. The miracle arrived when I stopped worrying and accepted that I'm getting on and these things happen. The best thing I did was stop trying to cover it all up. This product is my new foundation, I wear it over sun cream add a bit of spot cover and sometimes a bit of powder on my nose. My skin looks so much better without foundation settling into my wrinkles over the course of the day. This primer seems to make my skin look smoother, less shiny and it feels really comfortable all day. I haven't tried any other similar products as I seem to have found something that works.

Una muy buena prebase He probado la angel veil y otras y esta es mucho más buena. Se notan mucho menos los poros, alisa la piel. Para que sea mucho más efectiva se tiene que aplicar después de la crema hidratante y dejar unos minutos para que se se que seque antes de aplicar la base de maquillaje
