Q: Why does the box in the picture show Chinese writing on the back if it's made in the U.K.?

Maybe it's also sent in same packaging for export. All I know is it's the best price on Amazon. In Bloomingdales in Florida it was £151 and at London Heathrow £100 for same size

I doubt very much that Penhaligons license the production of their fragrances. It was probably a fake. The bottle and packaging I bought was definitely the genuine item. I hope this helps.
