Swapping PC gaming for Console
Thought I would give this a go despite already owning the pc version. I have always been a pc fanboy and have a pretty high spec pc built specifically for gaming but more recently have noticed the price of the ps4 and the games are coming down in price. All I want to do is pop the game disc in and be playing within a minute or two, it took nearly an hour to install the 4 disc pc version yesterday and then it wanted updating etc.....it's not a total deal breaker but today I received my copy of this game on ps4, in went the disc, took around 30 seconds to partially load and update and within the minute I was playing the game and not only that visually I would say it's on a par or even better than the pc version. I used the 2D to 3D conversion app on my Samsung 3D tv and the game looks brill and plays as smooth as anything. Very pleased , great game too.

Good game
This is my first Call of Duty as I've never been into shooting games much. So far I like the campaign but I mostly play multiplayer with my friends. The gameplay is exciting and fast paced, but is actually pretty hard (I needed a few hours of practice before I got half descent). I found it quite addictive to start with but got quite bored after playing on my own for a while, so I recommend you play this game with some friends. I like the range of guns you can get but its quite annoying because some of the cool stuff you have to buy. Overall though I really like this game and recommend it and I definitely will get some of the other Call of Duty's.

Extinction = Unbelievable!
Now I have lost faith in COD since Modern Warfare really and swore i would never buy another after World At War but Ghosts has to be the best COD since Modern Warfare which says a lot. The campaign is varied and great fun, if not very long, but also incredibly easy, even on veteran. Multiplayer is much improved and very addictive and fun, while the squad points system means you don't have to wait to rank up to get the guns you want. The best part of the multiplayer experience is the incredible Extinction mode, think zombies but with man-eating alien creatures, which is soooo good that it makes this game worth buying on its own, you'll be playing this with your mates for hours and hours. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because there are still connection issues with the servers quite frequently, along with the ever annoying ability for you to get shot after you've ran round the corner, so frustrating.

Best cod since MW2
Infinity Ward have almost created a masterpiece with Ghosts I love it.The map design is great if you give them a little time to learn. The weapons all feel good and they are all different in handling and sound, this is something Treyarch and Sledgehammer have both messed up on their games. The perk system is brilliant you can really create some great classes. Yes it is true that this is a bit slower in pace than other titles in the series but it is better for it in my opinion. This is more of a thinking mans or woman's cod multiplayer. This is what cod multiplayer should be like you can play it whatever way you like aggressive, camper run n gun (on the smaller maps anyway). The graphics are spot on the maps feel and look war torn and dark unlike that turd of game that should not have the name Call of Duty that came out this week advanced warfare in that all the maps any but war torn or dark. So I give the multiplayer 9/10. Story mode although entertaining does not set the world on fire its cod at the end of the day.7/10. The Extinction mode is well worth a bash as well pretty intense stuff 8/10. So keep up the good work Infinity Ward don't follow those other studio's and turn cod into a joke keep it real. Look forward to Ghosts 2 and 3

Great visuals, slightly dodgy multiplayer, almost feels like a beta?
First of all, this review is about the multiplayer. I have been fairly good at the other multiplayers (more kills than deaths haha!) so I am used to the gameplay PROS The visuals of this game are a vast improvement to that of the PS3. Very smooth and vibrant colours. Create a soldier system is different now, with the ability to unlock your favourite/better guns at an earlier stage. Each weapon is completely different, meaning you will probably do a lot of experimenting with different combos. General Call of Duty multiplayer fun (If you like the multiplayer haha) CONS Spawning in this game appears to be a lot worse in comparison to previous titles. I have lost count of the times I have spawned in the line of an enemies sight and died within 2 seconds. It is very frustrating and it appears as if I'm not the only one who has this trouble. This could be fixed with some kind of update I'm sure. The maps are very big and boring. They also feel as if they haven't been fully completed/rushed. It feels like a beta. There aren't any standout maps that everyone seems to love at the moment, though I'm sure they will be in the add on map packs as usual. It also means that the enemy can come at you from any direction. I'm not a camper, but sometimes its nice to find a nice bit of cover where you know an enemy won't come up and shoot you in the back! Generally between two enemies, it is whoever sees the other one first will get the kill. This removes a lot of a players skill from dodging the bullet and getting a counter kill, as they are dead before they even know who is shooting. FINAL VERDICT: 3/5 I enjoy playing Call of Duty multiplayer, as I consider it to be quite fun, however I find myself getting frustrated pretty quickly with this game, particularly when spawning next to an enemy. If this spawning issue was solved, I would have given a much better score. If you are a big fan of the previous titles and want to see a great visual enhancement, I recommend it. If you have some spare cash from Christmas and want to have a bit of fun on the ps4, I recommend it. If you are easily frustrated, probably wait until the issues are sorted out! :) I will also play the single player soon, and if it changes my mind on the overall game, I will update my score.

Excellent game, plenty of challenge and thinking, strategy, and battle savvy involved. The one thing puzzles me is the ending, does it imply a sequel?
