JB01502 GorillaPod 500, Black/Charcoal

This is the first GorillaPod I have owned, and now I'm kicking myself for not buying one years ago. I wanted something to use with a 360 camera at a theme park, so I could easily clamp it on a fence rather than taking my tripod. The new models of GorillaPods are made with 360 cameras in mind, and they removed the tightening knob on the base so it won't be in the shots. It seems well built, and works great.

Bought this to hold my Canon G7X II for vlogging, and it totally works. Stands up to whatever shape I put it in, and is very helpful for stabilizing my shot as I"m filming. It's also compact, so it fits in my every day carry bag without adding too much bulk to it. Great product.

Intended for use with my Canon G7X Mark ii on backpacking trips where I needed a tripod to take long exposure shots, this little guy did a pretty good job for my needs. It was properly sized for the weight of the Canon so I had no issues with it wanting to tip over even when I had the camera pointed directly up at the night sky. The pivot ball at the head is rather stiff, but I'm hoping it will loosen up a little bit as I use it more. It fits nicely in my pack's outer mesh pouch for quick access, it's rather lightweight, and so far no issues with the legs coming off as in other reviews. Even though it is short, it still works great as a handle for doing selfie videos and pictures. It adds just a little bit extra arm length to selfie shots, allowing me to capture more of the surrounding background. I took away one star only because of how stiff the pivot ball is at the head. I felt like I was putting a lot of pressure on my camera to reposition it.

Haven't used this extensively yet but I'm already pleased with it. It is great for unusual tripod situations & self filming but can be a bit difficult to position in a standard tripod set up, since the legs are fully moveable & you'll get a bit of a tilt. But that's easy to fix if you just take some extra time to adjust. Holds my canon M100 well

terrible product. lasted a week and the pivot ball head detached from the rest of the tripod, rendering it useless since it won't unscrew from the frame attached at the bottom of my camera. terrible quality and basically no info anywhere on how to fix this issue or how to proceed. im asking for replacement or a return of my money. what a waste of time.

Works great and seems sturdy enough - it's versatile and well-built. I use it in conjunction with an Ailun phone adapter; it holds my old Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with no trouble.

La rotula que permite el giro de la cámara es segura y es muy complicado, por no decir imposible, que la cámara se caiga. La estabilidad sobre una superficie estable es muy buena, da igual lo juntas o separadas que estén las patas. A la hora de sujetarla en otras superficies cuesta un poco más porque se nota que las rótulas tienen buena calidad y necesitas doblarla con fuerza.

2〜3回使っただけで、ジョイントのコマの細い部分にヒビが入り、折れました。 折れたコマを外し、短くしてつかいましたが、また他が折れ、コマを外し短くしてを繰り返しました。 結局、かなりコマが折れ、今は、それぞれの脚がコマ3つの三脚になって、どこにもかからないようになりました。 正規品かどうかわかりませんが、モノは、使い物になりません。 まったく三脚を曲げたりしなければ、いい商品かもしれませんが、それだとなんのための可動する脚なのか？ って話になりますよね。 あまりこれオススメできません。

I was shocked by the small size, my mistake for not checking the specifications but this’s my first time buying this item i never knew it could be made THAT small. Should’ve been advertised with phones not cameras, very disappointed

Sadly only as strong as the weakest link which was not very strong at all. Once one link cracked, simply by manipulating it into position, it could not hold the weight of the 315 gram camera.
