Q: My armrest is 10 1/2 . A similar cover offered by same seller fits 10 1/2 to 13 while this one says up to 10 1/2. Which is a better fit?

I would take the one that fits up to 10 1/2. My arm rests are the same sizing and it's a tight, snug fit. Neat and smooth with no sliding around. Very good quality. The larger option may be a sloppy fit...depends what you want.

Q: Does the fabric have polyester in it?

No. They are covered in soft black fabric with a bottom elastic opening for a secure fit.

Q: do these feel like they produce friction when your arm moves? i want my arms to move freely on top of the fabric

very soft on arms and arm movement is very smooth sliding on them-fabric feels like a cross between a nylon and really soft t-shirt like cotton. very happy with purchase.

Q: Will these fit Knolls Generation chair arm rests (9” long and taper from 2.5–4” wide)?

Hi. The length would work but I think the 4 inches might be too tight. My chair arms are 9.5 inches long and taper from 2.75 to 3.5 wide and it's a snug fit.
