JBL J88i Premium Over-Ear Headphones with JBL Drivers, Rotatable Ear-Cups and Microphone - Orange

I have owned many different types of headphones in the past few years. I have had the beats solo HD, Beats studio, Soul by Ludacris, Beats Wireless and Bose quiet comfort 15. I purchased these a few weeks ago and I am impressed with the sound.These are not powered like the beats studios and these are way better priced. These are made mostly of plastic but I like the fact they do not feel like a dumbbell on your head. Even though they are not made mostly of metal I believe it would take a lot of abuse to break these. I purchased the white and orange ones and the price was great.These do not have the intense bass that is produced by similar powered headphones but the sound is very crisp and the bass is loud enough and not overpowering.The one thing I like about these is they have a locking cord. I use headphone all the time and I hate it when I walk past something and catch the cord and rip it out. Problem solved with these.I have many JBL products including wireless headphone I use for my TV at night and all my home theater speakers are JBL. Once again JBL doesn't disappoint.

Sound quality was fantastic. They made me realize just how much i was missing in my music. Unfortunately, the proprietary cable they came with stopped working after two weeks and no replacements are available on Amazon or from JBL's website. The one I recieved had no warranty card so I'm stuck with a rather expensive brick. It's a shame considering that the quality of the sound was sublime.

Love the quality of the sound. A little on the heavy side but I don't mind. The remote only works with iPhone, iPad and iPod.

Very comfortable for my daughter (11) who wears hearing aids. The left side quit working after only 6 months. Pretty upset since the we bought a different brand of headphones at the same time that was cheaper and she has had no trouble with the other ones. Won't buy this brand again. Spent to much money for them to mess up so quickly.

Really clear sound but zero bass. There is no bass what so ever at all. If you are reading this then youre probably thinking well all the other guys/girls said there was bass. Well there isnt so move on to a new product if you want really loud bass but if your looking for just good sound the these are really good.

Nice headphones, the clarity is clear and crisp, not that much bass, but the clarity makes up for it. Was scared of getting them because of not knowing how they are, then I searched YouTube and the videos was bogus, as in where language concerns because I can't understand German, Hebrew, or Russian... So I took the risk and got them, the build quality is ok, mostly plastic, the headband has a metal band running across the the top to each sides, which makes it sorta flexible. Stainless steel band and plates at each cup (Finger print magnet). The cable should have been universal instead of proprietary, but there ok. The case for this is useless to me, because it's not rugged, it just protects it from scratches and keep your headphone cable in a good and safe place... Consider buying a aftermarket case which I'm going to do.... Noise isolation is poor, my fiance could hear the songs I played (Dancehall)... But comfort is the best, coming from the monoprice 10823 to this it's a big difference. Overall this headphone is the boss.

The outer portion of the adjustable headset is made of plastic which broke apart after normal usage within 3 months after receiving it in the mail. After the plastic parts broke, first on one side, then a couple of weeks later on the other side, the headphones wouldn't stay snug against my ears. There is a plastic cover over the metal bands that you can adjust to fit your head. I took very good care of these headphones, but the plastic parts of the band still broke just under normal usage. The manufacturer needs to take a serious look at how they designed this adjustable banding. I never had a set of headphones that broke apart so easily. I'm sorry I spent my hard earned money on what I thought would be a good quality product from JBL.

Let me say that I have been a JBL fan for what seems like forever now. I have these headphone, the JBL in ear buds, and even have JBL speakers/sub in my car. These head phones have terrific sound quality I love the sound, but after only having them for a short amount of time the plastic at the top cracked when putting them on, They are still useable but I dont how much longer that will be. I would recommend these to anyone looking for "Better than Beats" sound quality but I advise treating these delicately.
