PowerVision PowerEgg Drone with 360 Panoramic 4K HD Camera and 3-axis Gimbal

Unfortunately the poweregg is plagued with connectivity issues. This is primarily because the base station connects to the cell phone which is the user interface via wifi and also connects to the aircraft via Wi-Fi. I now have a DJI mavic Mini which also connects to the aircraft via Wi-Fi but the connection between the phone and the remote control is by a short USB cord and I have been operating it for 3 months and not once have I gotten an error indicating that the signal of the remote control has been lost which would happen constantly with the poweregg. I would have to restart The Vision Plus app while the aircraft was hovering in midair due to the fact that it lost connection. I had two instances within an 8 month time frame where the aircraft crashed out of control essentially no fault of my own. The first time I paid $350 to have the aircraft gimbal repaired because of a hard Landing that was not my fault and I really was trying to believe in the power egg because it's such a cool looking aircraft. Then about two months later I was hovering shortly after takeoff and was about to throttle up and take off for a short flight and one set of propellers flew off and the aircraft crashed out of control. Powervision denied my warranty even though I had already essentially spent double the amount of my original purchase. DJI products fly pretty much flawlessly compared to whatever interface powervision decided to go with. It is a complete pain in the ass constantly having to force stop the app power off and power back on the aircraft. I tried to be a proponent of it but after investing $1,000 and having two aircraft essentially fail I had to look for another option and I'm glad I did. I wish powervision the best of luck and hope they can make improvements because the one thing the poweregg did very well was fly in high winds due to its 4.6 pound takeoff weight. It is a really cool aircraft but extremely unreliable. Sorry for the negativity but I gave it my all

One of the coolest I ever saw, but that's where it ends. Today I was flying mine when the battery went from yellow to red. So I brought it in for landing. No problem. But after it landed, the motors on one side increased speed and the drone flipped upside down and began pile driving into the concrete. The controls to shut it off did not work, and I had to grab it by one of the legs and hold it up in the air to get the controls to work to shut it off. Of course two sets of blades connected with the cement and shaved them about halfway down. I can't trust this thing. Max range is about 300 feet before the audio warning sytstem starts complaining about being disconnected. I tried flying this drone at 3 different locations, to be sure it wasn't my location at my house causing it. Basically this is the thirdtime something went wierd on this drone, which cuts my trust for it down to almost nothing.Now the funny part is, I ordered new props for it last week, and guess what came in the mail today? Right. So I guess I will repair this drone and put it up for sale. The radio or software in this thing can't be trusted.I am a part 107 pilot, and own a few Mavic drones. Those drones have always been rock steady. Anyway, I tried. I will not buy from this company for a while.

Dont wast your money on this or any other Powervision drone. Their advertisements are very misleading at best and in several instances absolutely false. Says it has a 360° gimbal but it dose not. Says it uses GPS AND GLONASS but it dose not. I could go on here but point made. If you do happen to purchase one of these, dont expect it to actually work. I purchased the Poweregg thinking the price was awesome. It's almost like they got eighty percent complete and called it a day and figured good enough. Customer support is pretty pitiful. Very nice people working there but dont seem to be familiar with their own product. Do yourself a favor and dont bother with Powervision.
