Q: What are the different grades of Mr. Surfacer for, 1000-1500??"

I thihk Mr. Surfacer comes in 500, 1000, 1200 and 1500 grades. 500 is coarser, 1500 finer.

Q: Can it be used as a primer applying it with brushes?

Yes it can, apply right out of the jar with a brush. Or thinned with an airbrush.

Q: Is it good for MG Gundam Models?

I haven't used it on Gundams, but it has done very well on the variety of models I have used it on. It should take very well to most plastics, resin, metal, etc. and the thinness of the 1200 should make it well suited to the fine seams of Mecha kits.

Q: I need to fill crack in a black plastic box, sand and paint, will this work?

If it's styrene plastic like that used for a model airplane, yes. If a different type of plastic, it may or may not. This is typically used on scale models to fill in seams.
