This book is a commendable consolidation of practices and principles. It leverages sound theory with practical implementations. It covers a comprehensive list of tools and technology required to architect and implements a seamless and robust CI-CD pipeline. It provides a sound understanding of the design patterns and architecture guidelines required, which are tried and tested from the author's perspective. Towards the end, there is an explicit section on assessments and best practices which is a great way to summarize and end the book with a rich learning experience.

Highly recommend this book, I’ve read Kubernetes and Docker books by Packt previously and like the detailed explanation of the authors. Go for it!

Okay so if you like you can get online and find tutorials and other material on most of the topics covered here. But I found having it all together, presented in a logical sequence, and consumable offline was very useful. It gives you the big picture and enough detail to understand what's going on, without becoming a reference book. From here you can go and look up anything else you need with confidence you will understand it.
