Great value, gets the job done; remember to buy 3.5" mount if necessary.
It is a great product, remember to buy a mount if you do not have a 2.5 inch storage slot to fit your 3.5 inch slot for hard drives. Other than that, the speed of my computer has greatly improved from my broken hard drive, and I have not encountered the issue with the month that I have had the solid state drive for.

Installed without any issues and runs great.
The Mushkin Source II - 1TB Internal SSDs I bought (two of them) were meant to replace a Seagate and a Western Digital 1TB SATA HDDs in one of my desktop computers. Dual boot, Windows 10 on one of them, Linux on the other. I was curious to see if I would run into issues with Win 10 cloning, but used Macrium Reflect Free for the boot partition followed by Mini Tool Partition Wizard 10 for the other 6 partitions on the same drive and this went without a hiccup. Next the second HDD was cloned which had Debian Linux Jessie on it (ext4) followed by two more NTFS partitions. I could do this only with Mini Tool, Macrium does not work on Linux. Copying went fine, making the Linux partitions active as well but ended up not being able to boot Linux yet. It will require a bit more work. In any case these SDDs are very fast, night and day in comparison with my previous setup and did not give me any headaches. The price was really good, I have multiples of Muskin SDDs in other computers. So far they outlasted one Intel SDD. Bought the first one at least 4 years ago and it is still running fine. Bought one for my brother at about the same time I bought the first two and that is still running for him just fine.

Really good SSD drive from a well-known RAM memory company
This is the first time I have purchased a SSD drive from Mushkin. However, in the past, I have purchased RAM memory made by them on several occasions and have had good luck with them. Based on those experiences, I decided to give this SSD drive a shot. I was not disappointed. This drive is very fast and is built very well. The read and write times are really fast and has met all my expectations of the Mushkin brand name. Totally worth the price, if you want a good and reliable SSD drive for your desktop or laptop. Highly recommended!

Love these
They're a great value for an SSD. I have had one for a few years and haven't had any problems with it at all. I just got another one a few months ago and it seems to be working great, though I've almost filled it up already x.x I may have to buy another one soon. Maybe more than 1TB next time. But I use both of mine for storing games and Unity projects and they work great. I was a little worried starting out trying to find a cheaper SSD that wouldn't crap out on me. I use a black Samsung with the grey square for my OS and I know those are very reliable, but it was a bit pricey already for a 240 or so GB. But its reassuring to have 2 of the Mushkin SSDs and both working well. I feel comfortable coming back to buy more of these.

Not bad for the price
Not bad for the price. I wish my laptop had an M.2 slot, because I would have gone with that for way faster speeds. It's good enough for my needs. Installation was cake, and the speeds are quite good, and comparable to more expensive Samsung drives.

Additional Storage [2TB version]
I'm using this drive as a storage drive on my Lenovo Legion. The primary contents will be movies, music, TV shows, adult material, and software. I previously had a 1TB Seagate disc drive, that had decent transfer speeds. Upgrading to this, like anytime I upgrade to Solid State, is mind blowing. Transfers to the new drive are up to 10x faster than the disc drive, and it's weird not waiting for a disc to spin up. You click, and things happen, instantly. I am very happy with my purchase and would buy again. This is the first time in a long time that I've used a Mushkin drive, and it's great to see the company still produces quality hardware.

Good value for money ... but could screws not be included?
Based on reviews and the lower price, I went with this drive even though I wasn't familiar with the brand. I wanted to upgrade my existing 500 GB SSD to 2 TB. Got the drive installed, cloned my existing SSD, bumped up the partition size, and booted up with no issues. Barring any later failures, seems like a good deal. One minor quibble though ... why is it that SSD manufacturers don't include mounting screws? It's not just Mushkin, my last SSD purchase was a Western Digital and it also did not come with screws. The screw size isn't listed anywhere in the product description; I subsequently ordered some "SSD mounting screws" that turned out to be far too small. (With both drives, I eventually resorted to duct tape to mount them to the bracket.) All of the screw holes in the drive are the same size; it wouldn't be that hard (or expensive) to provide a couple of screws, or at the very least, tell the buyer what size screws to get. But, as this seems to be a problem with all SSDs of this form factor, don't let it dissuade you from giving this one a try.

Works fine on ps4, but not noticably faster than mechanical drives.
I used this to replace a ps4 hard drive that inexplicably died when I updated red dead redemption 2. Weird issue, but whatever. It was a direct replacement with easy install and this hard drive is working fine with no issues. However, I am not noticing any speed increase that solid state is supposed to give over the regular mechanical drives. The loading screens in games are not noticably faster and the game play is the same as the stock drive that came with ps4. For durability, solid state is supposedly king. I've not had any problems with solid state drives in computers and a net book. I'm going to be putting the ps4 in an rv so it'll be getting bounced around on road trips, so I don't regret the purchase. For the money, a regular hard drive would work just as good in the ps4 if you're just leaving it still.
