There is nothing to dislike!We never had this type of option growing up, just a plain globe that spins around, nothing fancy. THIS product has a clear, “wipeable” coating allowing one to use dry erase markers on it (comes with a marker and cloth) and comes with a magnifying glass. It ALSO-LIGHTS UP- and has additional application software for learning (I included photos and -requirements for the type of devices customers have to use to access it)type in “ARGOLDENGLOBE” all one word into the Apple Store or Google Play store to locate it.***the pamphlet/ user manual has the title of the software misspelled, that the customer should look up!!!!People are complaining that it isn’t big enough, I disagree, it is not too big and not too small, it is just right.Perfect for homeschooling 😍😊Please see my photos!This is such a great deal guys… don’t pass it up!

Great globe with all the information you need to teach the little one about the world. The light function makes it very convenient. I wish it was bigger! The AR app isn’t the best, but better than not having one at all.

I recently returned from a European trip and wanted to show my 5 and 7 year old grandsons my travels. This globe with the app was a bonus! They were fascinated with it, the fact that it lights up and were excited with the app. I read that many found the app not to work, but I had no problem (I'm a 73 yr old granny!). My only SMALL complaint that the app does not seem to be synced with select locations---but that didn't make any difference to the boys. I must admit I found the walking dinosaurs, animals and so many other 3-D figures to be mesmerizing. I played with it before I gave it to them!! LOL I would say that the spoken information is pretty sophisticated for little tykes---but they absorb so much more than we think. As a former teacher, I would have made the information a little less technical.

I bought this for my son and trying to set up the app was next to impossible. It seems that it will work as long as you have an iphone. If you have an android phone or tablet, it will tell you that the app doesn't exist.

My son LOVES this globe. I am a flight attendant so he loves that he can see exactly where I am at all times. It’s also an amazing nightlight. He turns it on before he goes to sleep almost every night. Definitely worth itUPDATE:The globe is now flickering daily when he tries to use it, being that it was purchased a while ago amazon will not do anything about it. For the price point, it should work a lot longer than a few months.
