Great for voiceovers, easy to connect.
My son needed a mic that could connect to his Dell laptop for a school assignment for college. This worked in a pinch for him to do a voiceover!

Works perfectly!
This microphone is exactly what I needed. I use it for work and everyone can hear me clearly on our conference calls. I like the design of it as well! Super easy to use just plug it in and go.

Great for Podcasting and Streaming
The JLab Go Talk has been one of the best decisions I made since I started podcasting over a year ago. Mounting it on an arm was easy once I found the adapter in the box. I tried 3 other popular brands, and they either had me maxing the gain to be heard or going in and out like I was on a swivel chair, but this little guy sounded great in a plug-and-play sort of way. The easy controls on the mic come in handy, but honestly, I haven’t had to move them much at all. Now that I have the sound levels and quality I like, I’m getting one for each of my 2 cohosts.

Could be better.
Overall the product is okay. The sound quality is not bad and nobody has any issues hearing me and for that reason I gave 4 stars. It does what it's supposed to do. A few weird things to note.. The speaker itself is very lite which is nice and has a sturdy-ish base but the way you hook the base on is possibly the worst design I have seen. Also, on a couple of occasions I have had to disconnect from the computer and reconnect in order for the mute button to work. Overall though, not a bad product.

Great product with no issues even after 2-3 years
Just now reviewing after all all this time about 2-3 years and my daughter is still gaming and streaming with this mic! Works fantastic and was easy to setup and is still going strong with no issues or malfunctions!

Disappointed — cardioid mode has constant clicking/crackling noise
I was really excited for the JLab Go Talk USB microphone, but the cardioid mode is completely unusable - it produces a constant clicking/crackling/static noise throughout recordings. In omnidirectional mode the weird noise disappears, but the mic then picks up too much background noise to be usable in the context I'm trying to use it. I tried different USB ports and settings, but the noise remains. I expected some limitations in a budget mic, but a broken cardioid pattern - the main reason many buy this for streaming or voice work - is unacceptable. It sounds like technical/driver interference or a defect. If cardioid recording is your goal, look elsewhere.

Great Microphone with Nice Features at an Affordable Price
Great item! i do podcasting. I replaced an existing mic that just wasn't giving me enough power. This one has much better range and options than what i had been using. I've found it to be very useful in meeting all of my expectations.

Know what you’re buying
Page doesn’t specify what ports are needed for the microphone. You need a computer with a USB-A output
