I really don't think anything about this could be better(sharpness, hold, safety, stability, compact, smart, simple). It definitely cuts like a hot knife through butter. I'm very sad that I lost it somewhere in my house, so I'm buying another one. I thought it was affordable to begin with, now it's even cheaper!

Yes, technically it's a 30 degree blade in a fancier plastic enclosure; however, the plastic enclosure is super ergonomic, has a nice slider, and can cut string.Not that the blades are bad, but this knife combined with some super premium blades and you never need another vinyl blade.

This thing is a must have if ur a D.I.Y kinda guy, like I am. I like challenging myself with doing as many upgrades to my car I can do personally, alot of times learning by mistakes or what not. But I only wish I had this blade when I 1st started putting vinyl in on my car, would of made things easier and probably less mistakes. It's super super sharp, cuts right thru the vinyl like cutting thru water, very easy to cut straight lines or go over outlines. Very easy to control as ur cutting. Must have even if u dont use vinyl car wrap. If u want a very sharp, retractable blade that for any thing this is the 1 to have

I have worked in vehicle graphics and lettering for 9+ years and steady-handed blade work is absolutely essential. In many ways, this functions like many cutters on the market, HOWEVER there are two exceptional features to this knife that make my work easier. The string cutting feature, even when the blade is fully retracted, is perfect for cutting through knifeless tape. ALSO, the contoured handle gives you the right amount of control for rotation, pressure, etc... Basically, any which way you need to manipulate your cutting angle, this will help you do it without straining those valuable hand tendons that you need so dearly.So all in all, great price and comfortable, precision cutting. Can't beat this knife. I lost my first one and had to get a second. Yellow end at the base comes off and is used to help snap the blade safely for a fresh edge.

When it comes to x-acto blades...I use one pretty much everyday at work. I go through blades like nobody's business when it comes to working with vinyl and other material. So when it comes to a more heavy duty, comfortable grip and retractable blade....Vvivid's blade meets all those needs. The ergonomics of the grip are very comfortable and feels more fluent while cutting. Highly recommend!!!

Like others have said, this is a premium knife. It is easy to use. The blade does not "slip" or move around.I went through a number of different types of knives while I was learning leather craft. From disposable-handled scalpels, to regular scalpels and utility knifes. This is the best combination of control and cutting ability. I had never appreciated the "snap off"feature of knives before, but the ability to use a new fresh blade makes the work so much easier.
