Pour Over Kettle – Fixed Thermometer For Exact Temperature Hommaid Electric Gooseneck Kettle For Coffee and Tea (Quick Heating)

I've bought several kettles of other brands in the last few years. I see why this one is worth twice the cost of others. It gives you a constant water temperature readout so you can have the correct temperature for coffee (205), green tea 185, etc. The top of lid is a simple thermometer design so there is no electronic to fail. I am concerned of food contact part is plastic. However, this item all stainless steel construction stands up well, no plastic parts contact with water. No tube inside, easy to clean. Very convenient to use, just push the start button, and it boils the water, and then switch off automatically. The gooseneck is stylish, and i like it in my kitchen. Overall, good product for a very worthy price point. Strongly recommend!!!

Easy to use, great product for this price point. I am a tea lover. I have owned another water kettle, but only for boiling water, it pours too fast with a big water spout. I bought this one, and satisfied with it: Heats water fast, comfortable for holding, easy to pour over, and clear to read the temperature, I can't expect more. One small suggestion, the built-in thermometer is good, if bigger size, it would be more perfect.

In one section the metal part is separated from the black base. I have a photo but am unable to transfer it Update on above review: The kettle works perfectly and I am now very satisfied. The above-mentioned issue has no effect on the operation. The company has been extremely helpful even offering to replace it after I informed them that it was now working well.

I like that it heats up water pretty quick and so far---( it's almost Dec, and I bought it late July)it's help up material wise ok, EXCEPT--the screws to the thermometer have come undone , and they no longer tighten. Another thing, I'm not crazy about is---when the water starts to boil, it shuts off. Fine, though I don't think the temp quite reaches 212 degrees.

Pretty aggravating to wait a few days to get this, and then have it not turn on when I take it out of the box. Was planning on making morning coffee with my folks tomorrow. Look's like we'll be going to Starbucks.

This thing is awesome! I use it about 3-5 times a week. It’s all stainless steel and I love the temperature gauge on the lid. I find it to be pretty accurate. It heats to boiling in about 5-6 mins and is small enough to fit in a drawer.

I will definitely recommend this. Very easy to clean and does not make much noise. Really love the design of the outlet!!!

This pot does exactly as promised. It heats water quickly and shuts off when it reaches boiling. Skeptical that the thermometer in the lid was more gimmick and than function, I tested it. Sure enough, when the needle hits 212 degrees F (boiling), the pot switched off! I initially thought the pot was leaking (found water pooled around the base several times) and was about to send it back. Then I realized that it was me — I was overfilling it! There is actually a MAX FILL line embossed inside that I did not initially see. When overfilled, water was flowing into the Strix tube (opening located on the inside/top of the pot where it enters the handle. Water was flowing into it and exiting the vent holes at the bottom (where a small amount of steam normally exits). Stupid hurts sometimes!!! It works beautifully now.
