I know that most shooters have become obsessed with "electronic" earmuffs... but I think that many are overlooking the advantages of a set "passive" cans. While electronics may be great for hunting, they fall a bit short when it comes to indoor and outdoor range shooting.This set of Walkers passives offer +/- 2-3db more NRR/SNR than their comparable electronic counterparts (even with their electronics turned off). While that may not sound like much, it's a +/- 10% reduction in realized sound. So if you don't need of the ambient sound enhancement of electronic muffs and just want to block out the sound impact of adjacent and your own weapon, these Walker passives deserve serious consideration.For what it's worth, I own several sets of electronic hearing protection including Walkers and MSA Sordins, as well as a couple of sets of passive muffs and plugs... Indoors, these are the standout!

Used these hearing protectors today at the range and they performed extremely well. I could hear people talking but the gun sounds were muffled well even when standing just a couple feet away from my buddy firing his WWII vintage (loud) rifle. Somewhat comfortable, but one has to give up some comfort for a tight fit over the ears.

Great! I work in a manufacturing plant with loud machines and sonic welders and although I've gone all most two years without hearing protection, for some reason only now I'm feeling a little annoyed at the noise level. Anyway, these are great. Comfortable, good seal, and making a great difference. I walked right up to the sonic welder to test them and my ears didn't hurt. Great price. Don't wait two years like me haha.

I have this for a year now.It is durable and sustain the elements .The noise reduction is ok, could be better.You can adjust it fairly easily, I wear it sometimes on my hat or on my head directly both works fine.I do feel that it seals my ears in a good way.If what you are doing is mowing the lawn or something similar in volume this is ok.

Wow , much better than i thought they would be, they really take down the sound level. Work's great, solid and feel very comfortable. Size is perfect for me and very easy to use.

Well made, portable, easily cleaned, fits with my hat on, easy to adjust, and most importantly great noise and percussive wave reduction. Pair these with in the ear ear plugs to get best results for hearing protection. They are light weight, and transport easily where ever you go.

I know the Walkers brand. Needed a quality pair of Ear pro but didnt want to break the bank. Well....I do...but needed a pair shipped quick and couldnt get Electronic sent on time. These are great basic ear protection. Youll need to break them in a bit and stretch. Some would say these are tight, I would say they may have a big head like myself. Works well at an indoor range. Will use for Trap shooting as well.

I purchased this primarily to use at the gym. I take a lot of classes in an enclosed space, where the music is very loud. I love the classes, but I am not going to leave there with hearing loss. This is the third pair that I have purchased and it seems to be the best by far. I inquired from an Audiologist why was I able to hear my heartbeat with this one and not the others? I was told because it was blocking out more of the sound. It’s a snug fit and allows enough room where it is not to snug on top of my head.
