Q: How in the world do you loosen the top bolt?! Did they glue this on or something? I cannot for the life of me unscrew the bolt. Help!

You can't loosen the hex nut right above the wheel. This is the lower surface between which it and the upper nut the mounting flange is captured. If you want to adjust height you will need to use washers to shim the wheel.

Q: Will these hold up for outdoor use without quickly rusting? I'd like to use for a grill.

You can use on the grill. I use mine inside a non heated or cooled room with high humidity and they have not rusted. But please you would better put it indoor to protect it from rain. The rain will make the faster get rust soon .

Q: I need 1/2” dia coarse thread on the bolts that screw into the leg of my workbench. Will these fit? Thanks.

Most likely. The stems of caster wheels are 1/2" diameter, 13 threads per inch, which is the NC (National Coarse) standard for 1/2" bolts. If you want to be sure before you order, take a bolt that fits in the hole to a hardware store and compare it to the 1/2-13 bolts they have on hand. Good luck.

Q: What wheels should buy for a wire storage shelf?

Ones that fit. Does your shelf take a metric or SAE thread? What size diameter? Unless you can answer these questions, you don't know what wheels will work.
