Well spec'd without the bloatware
Bought this for a family member who needed an updated laptop. This was very well priced for the specs and came without the bloatware most vendors provided.

This is a power house
This is an amazing laptop! I don't say that lightly, it really is. I ran all the tests on this for MS Flight Sim and it maxed out all of the setting to optimum no trouble at all, no flicker no stutter at all. I use a VR headset for all my gaming and bought this just for MS Flight Sim, and it is very impressive. This is running Steam and Steam VR, Oculus program, MS Flight Sim in VR and controlling the Logitech G Pro yoke and rudder controls without breaking a sweat. Whether it is running MS Flight in VR or just on the laptop with a secondary monitor, it has no trouble at all.Setup was super easy and quick.Although the shipping said 4 to 7 days to get it, it came the very next day after ordering! Well done MainGear well done.If anything changes I will update this.Update:A little over two weeks in and the only complaint I have are the speakers! Not to date myself but they sound like an old AM radio. I updated the audio drivers and it is a little better but not much. It is very limited on the volume. However I didn't get this to watch movies on, but a little more attention to the speakers would be nice. With that said I am still very satisfied performance wise and highly recommend it.

Powerful, better than what my research online seemed to show.
No bloatware. Been playing all my games at 1440p with High to Ultra settings without hiccup. When pushed, I'm seeing the 3070 Ti hit 125 watts. The machine does get pretty warm without an active cooling pad, but considering how much power it has, I expect this. HW Monitor image MAX numbers are from using CPU-Z CPU all core stress test and running Heaven at the same time for 10 minutes. All core CPU speed stayed around 4100 MHz during the test. This laptop out performs my old 3700X/GTX1070 desktop noticeably, and demolishes my HP Omen I7-7700HU/1050Ti laptop as it should. Best laptop keyboard I've used. I'm glad I got this. I did a fair amount of research online and was kind of scared by the reviews, but this unit is much better than how I perceived it from online information. I Will do some more stress tests and benchmarking, if I find anything of note, I'll update.

Incompatible with Valve Index since Thunderbolt is connected to Integrated Graphics not Discrete GPU
Powerhouse. Worth noting that it is incompatible with Valve Index due to the fact that the Thunderbolt port is connected to Integrated Graphics rather than discrete GPU.

All great , except.
Love everything about this laptop. Be advised, this laptop will not receive a charge through the “Thunderbolt” port, therefore not truly a Thunderbolt laptop. I verified this with Maingear. This was never mentioned in any advertising. All other aspects of the “Thunderbolt” port works, such as dual monitors, etc.

Don't buy from seller. So unhelpful
I'm a video editor and so I've been trying to find a really nice laptop to be able to edit videos quite easily for me without having to worry about my software crashing. The specs for this machine are SUPPOSED to make 4k video editing easy but software that works just fine on another laptop and my desktop kept crashing.I reach out to the seller to see if there are any settings adjustments to make to change the outcome, just to get told that they'd reach back out to me and get no reply for a week.So after being completely dissatisfied with the fact I paid so much for a laptop that's just not cutting it for me, I go to return it just to be told that there's a 20% restocking fee!!!I have 0 issue with restocking fees, I used to work in retail I know how they work. However, WHY am I finding out about a restocking fee when I'm trying to return now as opposed to when I was initially buying the product? Just doesn't seem transparent to me.Also, don't say you'll help me and then never message me back about a product you sell.If you are 1000% sure you want this, then buy it. But if you might find yourself about to take a chance, just look elsewhere, seller is 0 help. Saw other reviews saying the same thing and thought "can't be that bad." Yeah. It is.

Excellent build quality and High end components
I purchased mine at Microcenter after using MSI gaming laptops for the past 5 years. Hands down, this was a deal (paid $1350 for an open box)! The keyboard is taking some getting used to, but having a full mechanical with per key RGB isn't common on most laptops, it adds a nice touch along with the LED bar on the front.I haven't played any games on it yet, but knowing the 3070ti chip pushed with the i9 12k series, there is hardly anything to worry about.Maingear isn't well known, yet. It will be. Microcenters parent company makes it and I'm becoming more of a fan each time I power it on.Don't pay attention to the low stars, it's a 5 definitly!

Buena laptop, me gustó el precio aunque no el costo de envío
Me gusta que es rápida y las luces en el frente del borde de la laptop
